16. Cheater.

A/N: This is gonna be quick because I know y'all just want the next chapter. Thank you guys so much for the love and support. I took a break thinking that nobody would care because they didn't actually enjoy the book. But when I posted my last a/n I was proven wrong. I appreciate y'all so much on this app. Thank you for supporting me and showing love to my book. I love y'all so much and back to the normal chapters 🫶🏻.

I grab my phone and make my way down the stairs. My stomach drops when I see a figure on the couch but I instantly let out a relieved sigh when I see it's just Finn. I step closer to him and can finally get a clear view of him. He's drunk.

"Finn are you okay?" I ask slightly concerned.

"Me? Oh yeah I'm great." He slurs.

"You don't look great."

"I feel amazing." He says while chuckling.

"Okay well don't you think you should go into your bedroom?" I ask awkwardly.

"I can't see Arya right now."

I look at him in confusion.

"Why?" I ask.

"I cheated on her." He says with a look of guilt.

I freeze.

"I didn't mean to. I just had too much to drink and things got carried away. I love her so much and I hate myself for what I did but now I can't go back. I don't think I can ever look her in the eyes again." He says trying to explain himself.

That feeling of rage starts bubbling in my throat. I clench my fists and look at the floor trying to calm myself down.

"You should hate yourself. Your going to tell her. If you don't tell her, I will." I say making my way towards the stairs.

"I'm sorry." I hear him say under his breath.

"Say that to Arya."

I walk into Liam's room and climb into bed. The rage feeling still inside of me. I debate going to Asher's and using the shed but I decide against it. He's already helped me enough and after tonight, I want to stop making Liam so mad. It just hurts me more.

After an hour of just laying there, I finally fall asleep.

I wake up to yelling. I wake Liam up by patting his arm.

"What?" He says groggily. He seems to hear the yelling too because he jumps out of bed quickly.

I follow him down the stairs and I clearly hear that it's Arya yelling. I'm not surprised.

"How could you do that to me?" She yells in between sobs.

My heart breaks slightly hearing her in that state. She's never shown anything but kindness to everyone and he still did that. Sounds like it runs in the family. I stand next to Liam while I watch Finn try to defend himself. She suddenly runs off and I follow. Now I realize that she may want to be alone but I know how sometimes when I'm in that state I just want to be held. So that's what I do. I hold her as she sobs into my shoulder.

"I love him so much." She says still sobbing.

At this point, I can feel her tears through my shirt but I don't care. I don't say a word, I just let her vent to me for as long as she needs to.

Eventually she calms down a bit and thanks me. I reassure her that it's fine.

"I just thought he was different than his dad." She says while wiping her tears.

I hug her once more before she starts grabbing some of her things to stay at her parents. I walk her out and Jennifer hugs Arya before she leaves. I go to Liam's room to find him. He's laying down and I join him.

"Well that was pretty crazy right?" Liam says sighing.

"Yeah poor Arya." I say.

"Poor Finn. She didn't have to freak out like that."

"Poor Finn?" I say in disbelief.

"It was Finn who cheated. Arya is the victim." I add.

"But he was drunk." Liam says.

"So if you were drunk, you'd think its fine to cheat on me?" I ask.

"That's not what I meant."

I decide to just drop it because it's not worth it. I turn over and he quickly follows to cuddle me. I take a short nap and when I wake up, Liam's getting ready. I don't bother asking why as I get up and go into the bathroom. I brush my teeth, floss, do skincare, brush my hair, and braid it. I go back in Liam's room to decide on what to wear for the day. Liam hands me one of his hoodies so I put it on. I text Amy.

Me: Hey are you busy today?

Amy<3: No why babes?

Me: Wanna go and grab a coffee?

Amy<3: Suree!!

I put on some sneakers and kiss Liam before going downstairs. Jennifer says hello to me and gives me a muffin that she made for everyone. I take a bite and it's delicious. I swear she puts crack in these things. Finn walks in and I take in his appearance. His eyes are all red from crying but I can't make myself feel bad because I can't image the state that Arya is in right now. My heart hurts at the thought. I'll reach out to her in a few days.

I hear a car pull up and say goodbye to Jennifer, ignoring Finn. When Amy sees me, a big smile appears on her face and I return it.

I missed her.
