"anyone wanna go with me jogging?" i asked, hoping for someone who has a kind heart to go with me but they all just responded with yawns and groans. well, except calum.

"i do. let's go." he announced and grabbed my hand. woah, i didn't expect that at all. before we even got out of the door, i stopped and told him to wait.

"we're going to the gym, becca. why do you need to jog over there?" ashton asked.

"because i need to exercise double since i'm treating myself after this work out and i'm kinda getting fat. you know how i eat when i'm tired and hungry, right?" he nods once and then kissed my forehead. we're sweet, aren't we?

"just be safe. be there in 20 minutes." he says and i jog over to calum. he then glances and shots me an awkward smile.

i'm so not used to this calum but i actually like it. i know he's nice deep inside, he just doesn't want me to know it. he treats his friends differently, not me. i really wonder why.

he nudges me in my arm and chuckled. "we're not going to be there on time if you keep on walking like a turtle. come on, run."

while jogging, we've had our first proper conversation. it's not really proper, it's just full of nonsense but all was very INTERESTING. we talked about flying dogs, big foot, santa clause, vampires that he didn't believe exists which I do, zombies, cats whose faces look like a duck, and so much more.

"i like ghosts. they aren't that scary. i want to be a ghost someday." i informed him. he smiles at me and says, "i'm sure you'll be a pretty ghost someday."

"what about you?"

"i'm a psycho."

"you are?" iasked, disbelievingly.

"uhm, literally no. But let's just pretend. you pretend you're a ghost and I'll pretend i'm a psycho. okay?" okay...

"so what inspired you to become a psycho?"

"patrick bateman. you should watch american psycho." he suggests. i can see the tall building of the gym we're going on.

"uhm, sure. is it a horror movie or murders or what?"

"i don't know. it's for you to figure it out." he winks and walks of to the building.

that's one heck of a weird conversation.

"10 more curl-ups you need to do till we're done, becca. come on." calum reminded me, making me want to throw him the bottle beside me. so i did it, and it hit emma instead.

"what the fûck, emily?" emma asks angrily and throwed the bottle back at me.

they're all waiting for me, they're all looking at me and it's making me uncomfortable. we decided to do the same challenges and i just really suck at this thing. why do they even need to work out? they're fit, especially calum. but i won't mind checking them out while exercising. it's quite a view.

suddenly, they all laughed at me. did i just say that aloud?

"gee, thanks becca. i'm really flattered." calum smirked at me and michael died out of laughter.

"we're performing shows over thousands of fans, mostly girls. we don't want to run around and play looking like a sweating pig." luke explains and winks at me again. he likes winking, i like him winking too.

"oh, you like this?" luke says and winks again. oh my god. laughs erupted the whole place. yes, we're alone here.

i quickly composed myself and crossed my arms between my chest. "it seems that my brain is not working with me. it says the opposite of everything i actually think."
