A gloomy day was going on. It was heavy raining outside as unlike everyday today's day was seeming like the biggest one.

Here inside the room, ritvik was sitting all alone in his own company. He had switched of the lights as only the rays of sun were lighting up the room cutting through the curtains. He was completely silent, his facial was neither calm and nor devastated just the blank expression and his heart which was slowly breaking down loosing the hopes of getting her back.

That day after coming from her he tried to talk about them to his father but what shocked him was his father had other plans lined up. He was talking to some of their relatives who suddenly asked about his marriage to which his father responded in a way that left nothing to talk for him.

He directly passed the statement that if his son asked for love marriage then he will reject that proposal breaking all his hopes. Ritvik didn't speak further and locked himself in his room arguing for nothing and just mourning on his failure. The failure as a lover. He lost his love that love, which he had cherished for a long time.
T

he lone tear rolling down his cheek fell upon his palm as he blinked his eyes wiping those tears away.

"I love you krisha! I love you...." His broken voice faded as the painful sensation held his throat from uttering anything.

"Ritvik...." A voice came from outside as he abstractly wiped his tears and laid on the bed covering his head under it. At that time he didn't want to face anyone as he was awake the whole night and it has affected badly as his eyes has turned chilly red and his face was narrating the story of his tears.

"Are you sleeping? What happened? You never sleep for this long." He shut his eyes more lightly hearing his father's voice. Shakti bent and sat on the edge. He uncovered his face and put his palm on his forehead checking if he is fine or not.

"Get up ritvik!"

"I am sleepy!" He passed the statement and changed his side.

"I very well know how sleepy you are. Just get up and tell me what's the matter? And why are you not going to office? I ignored your behavior yesterday but now you have to tell me. Get up and answer me." He demanded with a firm mind and sat on the couch waiting for his son to wake up.

Ritvik got up but he didn't glance at him. His face was telling that he didn't want to talk or interact with him like something had happened.

"Why are you asking me now? Do you ever think about my consent? Then what's the necessity to know about my well being? You decided about my life without considering me, then why do you want to talk now?" His words shot up piercing through the elderly figure's ears.
