"How do we make it better?" Dylan asked, following me into the kitchen.

"We bake." I smiled.

"We bake?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well technically I bake, cause we all remember what happened last time you tried to cook." I smiled and pulled out some pans from the cabinets. This place has so many cabinets, it's huge.

"What! No I want to help." He pleaded. He's so adorable when he's begging. Wow that sounded sexual.

"Okay but don't burn anything." I smiled lightly and handed him some flour and sugar.

"What's this for?" He asked.

"Mix some of it together. We are making a cake babe." As soon as I said it I felt like I shouldn't have.

"Babe?"

"Shut up and mix the stuff." I said throwing a at spoon at him from across he counter.

"Ha babe." He said to himself.

He was obviously wallowing in the glorious fact that I, Aubrey Dimuro, called him babe. Guys and their egos.

"Something smells good." Somebody said from outside.

It was Tyler.

Dylan and I were sitting on the couch and waiting for the cake to cool, after taking almost two hours to make it due to Dylans inability to bake.

"Yeah it's cake, but don't eat it yet it still too-" I was cut off by screaming.

"Hot." I finished.

"My tongue my tongue!" Tyler muffled through the screams as he put his tongue under water.

Dylan and I laughed. "Hey we told you not to eat it yet!" Dylan said through his laughs.

"Well I am sorry. I see cake, I eat it." Tyler said now holding a cold rag to his tongue.

"Alright, alright" I said with my hands up. "So hey, are you still mad? At me?" I asked changing the subject.

"Well you were kind of being a bitch," Dylan sat up in my defensive immediately "but, you are not a bitch. You're very sweet person. So no, I am not mad at you." He spoke.

"Good. Thanks Tyler." I said while getting up to put the cake away.

"No thank you for the cake." He said reaching for it again.

"Hey! Wait till it cools!" I shouted.

"Till what cools?" Steph came running up the steps.

"A cake that none of you can have yet." I said while putting the cake away into the fridge.

"Okay. Well does everybody still hate each other?" Steph asked in her usual sweet, caring, kind, and innocent tone.

"Pretty much. That's why I made a cake," I smiled, "why?"

"Because I wanted to go surfing with everyone today." She pouted.

"You know how to surf?" I asked doubtingly.

"Yeah. I've surfed ever since I was seven." She smiled.

"That's awesome. I wish I knew how." I laughed.

"Well everybody else does, well actually I don't know if Isaac does, but everybody else does, so I'm sure somebody, probably Dylan, could teach you." She smiled sweetly.

"Hmmm, sounds cool to me. But since I'm trying to play peacemaker here and that's clearly not my part, you go play peacemaker. You're much better at it." I smiled and brushed her shoulder off for her to scurry away.
