Anakin Skywalker was a former slave boy on Tatooine. He was freed by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn to begin his training. He was said to be too old then by the Jedi Council since the code forbids it. Qui-Gon dies in a battle with Darth Maul and asks his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi to train him. And Anakin begins his training at the age of 9. But what if Anakin wasn't too old? What if he was found by the Jedi Temple?

6 Years Before The Phantom Menace

Shmi Skywalker is preparing dinner for herself and her 3-year-old child, Anakin Skywalker. This child was the whole world, even though she couldn't explain how or why she suddenly became pregnant with her child 3 years ago, she still loved Anakin. Suddenly, she hears a knock on her door. Two cloaked figures would appear. They would tell her that they're Jedi, and they come in peace. They would tell her that her child is special, blessed with a connection to the Force. They would ask her to have him trained. Shmi would feel very heartbroken. But she knew that it would be best for Anakin to be living the life of a Jedi rather than live the life of a slave. She accepts and tells them to give Anakin Skywalker the life that he deserves. The Jedi would bow and leave.

The Phantom Menace

Anakin is only 9 years old, but is already at the top of his class. He is one of very few younglings who're being trained under the watchful eye of Jedi Grand Master Yoda. Master Yoda would be amazed by Anakin's power. He had not seen a single youngling's power grow so fast during his long life. He would call forth the Jedi Council members to witness Anakin, easily defeating several younglings on his own. He would be entirely resistant to the teasing he would receive from his own classmates. The masters would call a meeting, and Anakin would stand in the middle. His life has been normal Jedi type of youngling life until his midi-chlorian came out, over 20,000 midi-chlorians. Anakin the Jedi would be stunned. They take it again, to be sure it wasn't an error, same result. The Jedi Council would then have more reason to believe that the Chosen One was among the Jedi younglings, and Anakin was that youngling.  That very night, Anakin receives a call for help from the Force. He would already have a bit of wayfinding, a legendary Force move that was used all the way back in the High Republic Era. Anakin would tell Master Yoda about his vision.  The two would go to Tatooine and find the source of the call of the Force. They would meet a Jedi, Qui-Gon Jinn, a young girl, Padme, an astro droid, R2-D2, and a woman, Shmi Skywalker. Once Anakin introduces himself, Shmi would feel heartbroken, her son, who was taking by the Jedi who had her consent, had comeback into her life, but it hurt even more, when he couldn't recognize her. She would go into her room, sobbing in sadness. Qui-Gon would follow and ask if she is alright. Shmi reveals that Anakin is her son. Qui-Gon would be shocked. Anakin would be fixing up a droid, C-3PO to help Shmi. He would begin to personally connect with Padme, the Queen of Naboo's handmaiden. Anakin, being a 9-year-old, would start to grow very fond of her. Qui-Gon comes into the room, shocked to see that Anakin had nearly already finish C-3PO. He would even sense his power. Master Yoda and Anakin would move the Queen and everyone else from the broken Nubian ship to the ship that Master Yoda and Anakin came form. As Qui-Gon and Anakin are the last to get to the ship, Qui-Gon would scream for Anakin to drop, Anakin drops, and the boy finds himself in the middle of a fight between Qui-Gon and a Sith Lord, Darth Maul. Anakin would force push the Sith Lord far from Qui-Gon, the old Jedi Knight would be surprised at the great power he had just witnessed. He would shrug it off, and the two get in the ship and leave Tatooine. Back on Coruscant, the little arguement about the Sith would probably still go off the same way, but things get more complicated when Qui-Gon requests permission to train Anakin. The council would probably still say no since this is basically the Chosen One, so he needs to be trained by someone wise and smart. Qui-Gon would still say that Obi-Wan is ready to become a knight, and that ends with the same result. Anakin would probably be asked by the council to choose whether Qui-Gon or someone else. Anakin would probably choose Qui-Gon. The Jedi Council would sweat a bit. Qui-Gon was a Gray Jedi, and they were seen as misguided, but they were hardly ever turning to the darkside, but Master Yoda would say that they should respect Anakin's choice. Meanwhile, Darth Maul would explain about the youngling who had just forced pushed him so hard, it was like he was hit by a wrecking ball. Palpatine, or Darth Sidious, would figure that this is is tangled with that rumor about the youngling he's heard of. He would task Darth Maul to bring Anakin to him, to train him and fight against the Jedi. The Battle of Naboo would go a bit of the same way. Anakin would probably bond with Padme a bit more too, mainly because he's only 9-year-old, and it's critical about who you're spending your time with as a young child. Anakin and Obi-Wan would bond as brothers and look up to Qui-Gon as a father. Qui-Gon would not be able to keep the secret form Anakin any longer and explain to him about Shmi. Anakin would at first not believe it, but would believe his father-like figure the minute Qui-Gon mentions "Skywalker". Anakin would probably assist the two Jedi more, everyone would be suprised at the power that was powered within Anakin. But once Darth Maul comes into the room, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan tell Anakin to get into one of the Nubian fighters like in the original timeline as the Sith Lord points at the child, saying that Anakin is coming with him. Anakin would help destroy the Seperatist ship much easier and earlier, saving many more Gungans and people. He would then sense Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in trouble. He races down to find Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan already seperated from each other by the laser gates. They would open and Anakin risks a force push for Obi-Wan to reunite woth his master. The two Jedi fight Darth Maul. The Sith Lord would then force push Qui-Gon into a wall, knocking him out. Obi-Wan would then force pull his master's lightsaber, dual-weilding with his twin lightsabers, cutting Darth Maul in half horizontally. Later, Obi-Wan is granted the rank of knight, and Qui-Gon was given proper permission to train Anakin.
