What if...Qui-Gon Jinn Was Jedi Grandmaster?

Qui-Gon Jinn was a Jedi Master.  He was trained by Count Dooku, later to train his own Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi.  But what if something were to happen to Jedi Grandmaster Yoda?  What if Qui-Gon Jinn was put on the Jedi Council?  What if he was the leading member of the Jedi Council?

Many Years Before TPM

So let's just say that the Jedi trusted Qui-Gon Jinn to put him on the Jedu Council.  Grandmaster Yoda somehow becomes ill.  The Jedi Council member would teach master Yoda about the Living Force.  When Master Yoda dies, his body disappears and truely becomes one with the Force.  Qui-Gon is able to take his place as Jedi Grandmaster.  The fate of the Jedi Order would most likely change entirely.  The Jedi would detach themselves from politics.  They would still however work along with the Republic, but they would still bring peace the way they should've a long time ago.  Obi-Wan would at sometime marry Satine.  This would create a connection between the Jedi and the Mandalorians.

The Phantom Menace

By this time, some Outer Rim worlds would've sided with the Republic.  The Jedi would be given lots of credit, but wouldn't at all get carried away.  Obi-Wan Kenobi would've been a Jedi Knight instead of a Padawan.  He would've been raised more or less in the Gray Jedi Code and would've trusted his master and become a Jedi Knight much sooner than before.  Most of everything would be the same, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan would still be on their mission, they'd still meet Anakin on Tatooine, Anakin would still grow very fond of Padme, however, Padme and Obi-Wan would not once doubt Qui-Gon.  The first change would happen once Anakin's taken inot the Jedi Temple.  The Jedi would right away accept the return of the Sith.  They would've accepted Anakin's training.  The next change would happen in the Duel of the Fates.  Obi-Wan would've probably and have already reached to the level of himself in the OT (Original Timeline) version of Attack of the Clones.  The Jedi lead Darth Maul to the same room where Darth Maul wouldn't surrender.  Darth Maul gets cut in half horizontally just like in the OT and falls down the hole leading to seemingly endless darkness.  Anakin becomes his apprentice and peace is brought to Naboo.  

Attack of the Clones

Anakin has become humble, noble, and a fine acrobatic.  He would earn a green lightsaber after recieving years of practice in form IV, Ataru.  Anakin is a fine gentleman once he meets Padme again.  Count Dooku would just remain Dooku.  He wouldn't have turned to the dark side because Qui-Gon Jinn, his former apprentice, had changed his fate forever.  Darth Sidious would've focused on finding and healing Darth Maul and bring him back.  Anakin would be sent to protect Padme while Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are sent to Kamino.  They discover the clones that were ordered fro the Republic by Sifo-Dyas.  The whole thing would've played the same way until the Jedi refuse to command the clone army.  Anakin and Padme marry, and the counsil would allow them.

Clone Wars

This whole Clone Wars senario would've played out much more differently.  People would believe in the Jedi when they show themselves as true peace keepers.  Anakin and Padme would have no reason to hide their secret love, relationship, and marrige.  More star systems would join the Republic.  The Jedi wouldn't at all command the clones and try to negotiate first.  Anakin would be given an apprentice of his own.  Barris would never give up on the Jedi, leading to Ahsoka to stay within the Jedi Order.  Anakin would grow to be so powerful that he would scan right through the darkside and finally realize that the Chancellor was the Sith Lord, he would escape and clearly reveal himself to be Darth Sidious.  Soon and eventually, the Seperatists be forced to surrender once being outnumbered by the Republic.  Darth Sidious goes to Mustafar.  Qui-Gon tells Anakin to stay with at the Jedi Temple as he has heard of trouble on Mandalore cause by Darth Maul, he takes Masters Windu and Kit Fisto and together, they stop and defeat the Sith Lord and save Satine.   Meanwhile, Anakin believes that he should do something, he needs to do something and end the Sith once and for all.  He takes Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Grandmaster Yoda, and master Plo Koon.  The 5 Jedi would be able to overwhelm the Seperatists.  Soon, it all comes down to Anakin vs Darth Sidious.  The Sith would try a last-minute worth of bluffing by telling him that his wife will die.  Anakin would freeze.  He would feel rage come into his mind.  The two begin to fight.  It all ends with Darth Sidious, 50% off.  Anakin watches as the former chancellor falls dead.  The Separatists are forced to surrender.  The Jedi would relocate to Tython to fully embrace in their attempt to reconnect to the Force.  Anakin and Obi-Wan would train their children.  Qui-Gon would retire and eventually die of old age while Anakin becomes the new Grandmaster of the Jedi Order and the galaxy finally embraces pure peace.
