Obi-Wan Kenobi trained Anakin, after much persuasion to Jedi Grand Master Yoda. But what if Anakin was trained, or almost trained by someone like Mace Windu?

The Phantom Menace

Our story starts in Obi-Wan Kenobi's conversation with Master Yoda. Master Yoda would have the boy trained, but not by Obi-Wan. The council meets in the Council Chambers. Mace Windu rises and wishes to train the boy.

Over the Years of Anakin's Training

Anakin wouldn't really be having a good time. Mace Windu was a very, very, very critical man. Master Windu would hardly ever communicate with the boy. He would teach him about having no meaning for attachments. Anakin would probably already have a purple lightsaber. In their training sessions, Anakin would probably just feel tired of Master Windu and actually try to hurt him, but Mace would block him very easily. Over time, Obi-Wan would watch over Anakin to be sure that he's alright. He could feel the abandonment from poor little Anakin. Obi-Wan would confront Master Windu, tell him that he shouldn't push Anakin so hard in his training. The conversation would go as far as Obi-Wan saying that either he trains the boy or he leaves the Jedi Order, taking little Anakin with him. Master Windu wouldn't allow a great Jedi Knight to leave the order, all for the sake of a little former slave boy. Master Windu would have no choice, but to give Anakin to Obi-Wan. So really, while Master Windu wouldn't train Anakin for very long no matter how he got into that situation. Anakin would see how less strict Obi-Wan is, Obi-Wan wouldn't be as strict as his original self.  He would probably be a bit more like Qui-Gon due to seeing how Mace Windu, showing how the Jedi are with kids like Anakin.

Attack of the Clones

Anakin would probably keep his purple lightsaber, as a sign of a little loyalty left for Master Windu, he would be more loyal towards Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan would see more of his former master Qui-Gon Jinn's point of view about the Jedi Order. He would probably become a much younger version of Qui–Gon. Anakin is already very powerful. Basically already to his RotS self. Anakin is less broken and more in control of his emotions when he meets Padme.  Anakin wouldn't be as headstrong about trying to catch the assassin.  He would try to convince Padme not to use herself as bait, but would fail.  The chase would be too much different.  We skip Anakin and Obi-Wan's tasks, and skip to Anakin and Padme talking on the refugee.  Padme would ask how was training to him.  Anakin would look down, he wouldn't forget how he was first trained by Mace Windu.  Anakin explain to her that he feels that the Jedi, including Mace Windu, weren't the best people he thought he'd meet.  He would say that Mace tried to do his late training by the book.  He would explain just how much better trainer Obi-Wan was.  Padme would feel bad for him.  She takes his hand into hers.  Anakin would feel comfort fill his heart.  He would tell Padme, in soft tone how he feels.  Padme would be a bit surprised, that Anakin Skywalker has feelings for her.  She would ask him how come he feels this way.  Anakin would tell her that it's because he wishes to care for her, love her.  She, and Obi-Wan, were the reasons why he's with the Jedi Order, he would tell her that they were all he had left too.  Padme would try to get Anakin to forget about his love for her, for many things could happen.  Anakin wouldn't give up though.  The next kinds of changed would be the campfire scene.  Anakin wouldn't be as possessive as he was in the original timeline.  He would tell Padme, however, that his love is probably meant to be.  Padme would probably begin to actually start falling for Anakin from that part.  The next change would be with Anakin's mother's deaths.  He would still remain in control, but almost crack.  The Battle of Geonosis would still be the same, although, Anakin wouldn't lose his arm, but Count Dooku would still escape.  Anakin and Padme would still get married.

Clone Wars

Anakin and Ahsoka Tano's relationship would be much more different.  They would be a lot more closer together.  Anakin would be less recklace.  Anakin and Mace Windu's connection would heal.  Mace Windu's heart would change.  He would be less strict.  He'd be nicer to the young Jedi Knight.  As for Ahsoka being framed for the bombing, Mace Windu would think twice before believing the unconvincing evedience.  As for Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order, I feel like that Anakin would probably let her leave, not wanting to take her choice away.  Anakin would help Obi-Wan save Satine from her fate of death by Darth Maul.  He would even kill the nightbrother for what he had done to Qui-Gon, the only person, besides few others, who treated him like a son, a living being.  Satine would once again regain her rule on Mandalore.  Anakin would explain his marriage to Obi-Wan, he would apologize for not telling him sooner, regretting that he didn't trust him when he should have.  Obi-Wan would eventually marry Satine.

Revenge of the Sith

Ahsoka wouldn't need to go to Mandalore, she would probably accompany Anakin and Obi-Wan to rescue the Chancellor Palpatine.  Our 1st change in RotS happens with the battle between Anakin and Count Dooku.  Anakin would still win, but he wouldn't kill an unarmed man.  However, it would only delay General Greiovus from killing an ally, to make sure that Darth Sidious, or Palpatine's identity.  The next change will happen once Anakin receives vision of his dying wife.  Instead of going to Master Yoda, he would go to his brother figure, Obi-Wan Kenobi.  He would tell him about him seeing his wife dying in childbirth.  Obi-Wan would be shocked.  Anakin would suggest that they head into the archives.  Obi-Wan would say that they should be patient, just as Qui-Gon said back on Tatooine when he was attacked by Darth Mual.  The next change would happen when Anakin is put on the council and made the rank of master by Mace Windu, and he explains that the chancellor was not the reason, but the fact that the Jedi Council thinks that Anakin is ready for responsibility.  Palpatine's plans would begin to fail.  Our next change happens when Anakin learns that Palpatine is Darth Sidious.  Anakin would still tell Mace Windu, but suggests that they wait for Obi-Wan for extra support, execute Order 65, and they're ready.  Palpatine would be approached by Mace Windu and the masters he chose, Anakin and Obi-Wan would be in front.  Clone troopers would be assissting the Jedi.  Palpatine would ultimately lose, being cut down by Anakin Skywalker.  The war will finally end.  Anakin and Obi-Wan would feel that it is time to reveal their marriages.  They would tell the Jedi Council that they feel that the Jedi Order must be adjusted.  Their request would be fufilled by Jedi Masters Yoda and Windu.  Anakin would fulfill his role in the prophecy.  Obi-Wan would move to Mandalore with Satine.  Anakin would move to the Lake Country with Padme and the two would live happily ever after.
