❆°➳ "session three"
⤷ chapter eight:by the time jungkook woke up he did not want to get up, feeling taehyung's warm body against his was enough for him to decide he wanted someone to sleep next to every night. but sadly as more hours went by he felt taehyung wake up and get out of bed. by the time jungkook got out of bed he realised that the brunette left him a note.
the note said that he would be back later on today, he just had some things to sort out. his mind flicked back to the conversation he had with the male before he fell asleep. he groaned a little, remembering that they were meant to have a conversation for when they male gets back.
the brunette sighed, he had left jungkook's place early in the morning and hoped that he wont be out for long but he was. his parents had a meeting they wanted him to attend, it was boring and about their business. trying to push him to see what they do on a day to day to try convince him that this job is what he wants.
he sat there that whole meeting scrolling through his phone, being obvious that he did not want to be there. when the meeting finished he left, not spearing his parents another glance before leaving the building.
it took majority of his day up, so when he arrived at jungkook's for the third session the sun was setting. taehyung smiled when the door opened and a wide awake jungkook appeared. it was nice to see the raven look so much more awake, seeing that beautiful smile at the door before he entered always made him happy.
when jungkook shut the door they both walked towards the couch.
"I know last night before you fell asleep I talked about wanting to try and have a conversation about your sleeping patterns and troubles. see what type of help you want from this so we can create a plan"
"from what I have gathered so far from our other two sessions you have trouble sleeping, you have night terrors and are afraid to fall asleep on your own" the brunette said, looking down at his paper of notes.
"nail on the head" jungkook sighed, leaning back in his chair.
the raven was thankful that the brunette was observant, it sometimes felt hard telling people how much he struggled to sleep. or having the explain his life story over and over again.
"is there any solution to helping you sleep that you against"
"I am not against taking medication if I have to but if nothing else works and that is my last option then I will go for that"
the brunette nodded, making sure to take note of that.
"I make some chicken soup and made extra for you since I knew you were coming today. would you like some?" the raven asked, taehyung nodded and thanked him as he watched the smaller rush towards the kitchen.
jungkook leant against the kitchen bench and sighed while waiting for his food to cook. it was not the medication itself as to why he was against having it, it was more so that if it truly helped him... he did not want to get addicted.
after making sure it was warm he poured some into two bowls, making sure to turn off the stove before handing a bowl over to taehyung who thanked him.
"was you day busy?" jungkook asked sitting on the couch as he dug into his soup.
"a little, just family business stuff" the brunette brushed off
"oh that is school, I thought you looked like a end of year school student"
'speaking of hitting the nail on the head' the brunette thought.
"I am, this is more of a side hustle. at the start it was cause the money is amazing but then I started to realise how many people have issues sleeping and I wanted to help them. I believe sleeping can be people's therapy. sometimes not thinking can be so healing and that happens when you sleep"
what was rolling out of taehyung's mouth meant a lot to jungkook, it was nice to hear that someone cared about this and not just completely in it for the money.
