12: no sleep

⤷ chapter twelve:

jungkook sighed as soon as he placed his food in his bag, he hated cafeteria food. after locked up the house he drove in his car back to school, for his second day. he had not heard from taehyung, even after what happened yesterday.

the last couple of days have been the worst sleeps that jungkook has ever had. always tossing and turning, he was running on 2 hours of sleep, he woke from a nightmare.

it started to make him question.

'why is it when I am in someone's arms I have a peaceful sleep'

it scared jungkook, he felt like he was never going to be able to sleep. it was dangerous for him, especially when driving. he nearly dozed off while waiting at a traffic light, he was lucky someone behind him beeped.

jungkook entered the classroom, resting his head against his arms as he dozed off. trying his best to take a little nap before class starts.

"yo taehyung! do we have training today?" taehyung shook his head at his teammate that had come running up to him. when the male nodded and left back to the others the brunette sighed.

"why do you even play sports taehyung? it is just a waste of time" jake said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

the team and taehyung's friends never got along. you were only popular if your rich, and his teammates were not rich. doing sports made taehyung more popular but he feels happier being with his teammates, his 'popular friends' are shitty people. they only person from the group he likes is yoongi.

yoongi always had his own opinion, he was straight up and did not care what people thought of him. taehyung envied him, he always wished to have his own opinion or tell someone straight how he feels. but he cant, he is a people pleaser, always is and always will be.

he wants people to like him, he wants people to not get mad at him.

when he walked into his first class of the day with his friends he walked straight to his seat, ignoring jungkook who seemed to be asleep against the desk. he heard his friends chuckle and turned around to see them pull the raven's chair from under him causing jungkook to wake up on the floor.

his eyes were wide as he looked around to see a group of men laughing at him and highfiving each other. the brunette felt his heart sting when he met eyes with jungkook, the male was tired. taehyung could tell jungkook was not getting any sleep.

"you look like your about to fall asleep any minute kook" jimin whispered to jungkook who opened his eyes and shook his head.

"im good" the raven smiled, grabbing some of his noodles while he listened to jimin's friends talk.

"I heard there is a camping trip coming up for the year 13's" rose said, looking at the group who shook their heads.

"we are year 13's rose" jimin chuckled at the group and placed his phone on the table.

"apparently the camping trip for our year level is next week, I hope we dont get put with any of the popular people. it would be unfair on us"

"knowing the teachers though, they are going to want to seperate the popular people" jin complained.

"what do you do in this camping trip?" the raven asked, catching everyones attention who all smiled.

"it is so much fun, from what we have heard. there are mini cabins you share with four people. you do activities, campfires, cooking and swimming" hoseok smiled just thinking about how much fun they were going to have.

"I am glad they put the camping trip at the start of the year and not the end" rose said, catching jungkook's attention.

"is there a reason as to why?"

"yeah, it is worth heaps of credits!"
