Bad Boy Turns Soft

13: day one

⤷ chapter thirteen 

it had been a few weeks since bumping into taehyung and now jungkook avoids him as much as he can. he could tell the brunette was anxious around him, even when they would brush past each other in the hallways. 

jungkook would never tell anyone, he knew he was going to keep it a secret but there was something fun about seeing the brunette nervous over him. he had spent the weekend packing his bags for the camping trip. it was difficult seeing his friends so excited over this trip when he would rather struggle with sleeping at home. 

he struggles enough getting to sleep at home let alone in a tent in a random place with teenagers he hates. jungkook was currently at school, waiting next to jimin and other teenagers for the bus that is meant to take them to the camping site. 

the teachers by the road, talking amongst themselves while looking at the lists in their hands to make sure everyone was here. jungkook let out a nervous sigh as he saw taehyung walk up to his popular group of friends. half of him wished taehyung never found out they went to the same school, as he was the only reason he could fall asleep. 

jungkook did not even get any advice yet on how to help him get to sleep, or get to finish their sessions. he was hoping they would of been able to still continue it, he did not want it to end. 

he gulped when he met eyes with the brunette and quickly went to face jimin, starting a random out of the blue topic to make it look like he was not looking. but taehyung caught him, he also watched as the raven yawned so much, those dark circles under his eyes evident. 

'he is not getting any sleep is he' taehyung thought, watching again as jungkook yawned. taehyung has seen this happen before where a client does not get sleep for a decent amount of days and they start to get dizzy, headaches, overly tired but scared to sleep. 

for some reason taehyung's heart ache, he did not want that for jungkook. he spent the past few days worried about him, he had not heard from jungkook if he wanted more sessions and when he never heard from him he assumed the male did not need him anymore. 

"okay everyone get on the bus!" a loud yell was heard from one of the teachers as the students moved towards the bus. once jungkook stepped on the bus they were following the teachers directions towards where to sit. 

jungkook pouted when he was separated from jimin and soon cursed when taehyung was placed next to him. as soon as the bus fell quiet the teacher started to speak. 

"okay everyone, we have separated you from your friends so the bus wont get loud. this is a two hour drive so get comfortable and feel free to sleep. we will get going now" 

and just like that all the teachers were seated and the bus was moving. for the first half hour of the drive jungkook was cursing in his head at how awkward this situation is. he heard whispers from other girls on the bus saying things like "I wish I was in his place"

"he is so lucky to be sitting next to taehyung" 

taehyung also heard all those whispers and felt even more embarrassed, it was bad enough jungkook thought he was a douchebag for being popular let alone having girls get angry at jungkook for sitting next to him. 

as an hour went past taehyung could see jungkook's head slightly tilt forward, eyes shut before his eyes opened as soon as his head went forward. this happened a lot over the first hour of the trip and taehyung could see how tired jungkook was. 

they both have said nothing towards each other, sometimes little glances were thrown in each others direction but besides that, nothing else. 

taehyung sighed when he watched the raven's head tilt forward again, the brunette cupped the side of the male's face. flinching a little when jungkook woke up and shot his head towards his direction, their faces were so close to each other that the brunette had to force himself not to look at jungkook's lips. 

"use my shoulder" taehyung whispered, hand still cupped on the side of jungkook's cheek who closed his eyes again as soon as his head was leant against taehyung's shoulder. 

"thank you" jungkook whispered before falling asleep. 

"always" the cuddler whispered, resting his own head against jungkooks as he closed his own eyes.

authors note: so I have finished writing 'pretending to be you' and will be publishing chapters now and then while I work on this book. thought i would give you a little update for this book and let me know what you all want to see in this book? or if you think I could add anything to make this book plot really interesting!
