17: just trust me

⤷ chapter seventeen:

as the night was getting colder all the students had dressed into their night clothes all nice and warm. everyone was sitting around the campfires, roasting marshmallows. a day had past since the yoga session and the recent activities they did today, they did not talk at all. 

but taehyung's eyes were always on him. 

they did a lot of active stuff today and the brunette watched jungkook loose balance a lot, leaning against jimin to keep him standing. he noticed the eye bags under the raven's eyes and watched him look like he was nearly about to fall asleep. 

it was worrying, and he felt bad when the teachers kept telling him off instead of asking him if he is okay. 

the brunette was sitting down with yoongi and jimin and a few of his other friends, deep in thought. he was cut from those thoughts when he was nudged by yoongi, he looked up to see him and jimin looking at him. 

"what's wrong, you keep spacing out?" yoongi asked

"I cant really say" taehyung whispered, looking at the ground. if he mentions anything about jungkook sleeping or anything they will wonder as to why he knows anything about that. 

"is this about jungkook?" jimin asked, already got his answer when taehyung shot his head towards him. 

taehyung nodded slowly. 

"I have noticed as well, has he not been sleeping?" jimin asked, looking at yoongi who shrugged. 

"i never noticed, I am normally the first to fall asleep" the shorter replied

"can we switch places" jimin said pointing to sit next to taehyung, and soon did when yoongi shrugged and let his boyfriend sit next to his bestfriend. 

"I know what you do for a side job, and before you get mad at jungkook he had been telling much how much the service you provide helps and when he saw you on his first day at school he freaked out, and he told me" jimin explained, seeing taehyung's shocked face. 

"dont worry I wont tell anyone, but I am assuming that jungkook has not booked in more appointments since then?" jimin asked, receiving a short nod from taehyung. 

"I can see how worried you are for him, why not you and yoongi switch? so you can be with jungkook and I can be with yoongi" jimin offered

"that sounds good" taehyung said, wondering why he did not think of this sooner. he looked around the campfire to search for jungkook but he could not find him. 

"majority of yoongi's stuff is already by my tent, we can move the stuff tomorrow morning" jimin patted his shoulder, watching as taehyung thanked him and stood up. leaving the campfire to go back to the tents. 

he was now standing in front of jungkook's tent, no light was coming from inside so he quietly unzipped the tent and stepped in, shutting the tent from the inside. 

he turned to see jungkook inside a sleeping bag, facing the wall. he stood there for a little bit, crouched. soon feeling his heart clench when he heard a sniffle come from jungkook. 

"kook?" he whispered, heart breaking when he watched the raven turn and soon his eyes were met with teary ones. he rushed towards the small mattress with the sleeping back and sat down. 

"whats wrong?" he whispered, his eyes on the tears that were rolling down jungkook's cheeks. his body shivering from the cold. 

"I c-cant sleep, I haven't gotten a-any sleep since b-being here. I f-feel tired but I am s-so scared to fall asleep" jungkook sobbed, still clearly shivering. 

"yoongi and I switched tents, so I will be with you for the rest of the camping trip. I want us to go back to our sessions, you dont have to worry about paying me. just let me help you" taehyung whispered, unzipping the males sleeping bag and sliding in next to him. he was glad the sleeping bags were big enough to fit two people. 

after zipping it back up with him inside he turned to jungkook who was already facing him, on his side. taehyung wiped the tears that were rolling down the raven's cheeks and pulled him towards his chest, making sure the male was covered by the sleeping bag. 

jungkook let out a shaky breath when he felt taehyung's arms wrap around his waist. 

"thank you" the raven whispered, snuggling more into taehyung who pecked his forehead. 

"always, now get some sleep. your safe with me" that was the last thing jungkook heard before he fell asleep.
