Chapter 32: Knight in Shiny Golden Armor

Team Naju was so happy with yesterday's victory that for the first time they went downstairs to have breakfast. The Team did not have money for such luxury but the hotel manager was so amazed at their performance that he allowed them into the all-you-can-eat buffet. "Please, please come in, you guys are honorable guests here. Eat whatever you want, free of charge". The Team gladly accepted the invite, especially since it's been a while since they had a decent meal. The manager, however, had other intentions. He believed that if word got out that Team Naju was staying at his hotel then it would bring more customers and possibly fame. Or so he thought.

Onreifni: Oh man, does it feel good to be back in one piece.*finishing his stacks of waffles and orange juice* Do you know how much energy and Tekara you burn through when you have 3 of you walking around? It is exhausting,  And then having to merge back together, I mean all the memories, experiences, and emotions just hit you all at once like BANG!

Ycka: Yeah, Yeah, let's give up for Onreifni and his big sacrifice. *claps*

Glorisa: Well I mean it was The Triplets' clever thinking that got us back on our feet. We are top 10 thanks to them... * and in a soft voice* and thanks to Onreifni.

Jessachi: Well it was also no thanks to The Triplets that we fell behind.

Commander: Jessachi enough. Let's just celebrate our small win, we still have a long ways to go so don't get too cocky. Now that the rest of the parties know what we are capable of we are most likely to be a target.

Jessachi: Well our element of surprise is lost since now everyone knows about the Reverse Sirotama and its potential.

Cyka: Can't argue there. We blew our Ace card too early.

Team Naju was so busy discussing the strategy for the rest of the tournament that they didn't see a familiar face approaching them. Shiny golden armor, lion emblem, and a blinding smile. It was no other than Alexander.

    Alexander: Good morning, sorry to interrupt but I couldn't help noticing that your majesty was staying at the same hotel. Care if I join? Her Highness played brilliantly in the last event.

    Glorisa: A-A-Alexander?! W-What are you doing all the way over here?

Everyone was in shock, especially Onreifni who squirted the orange juice through his nose. What was he doing all the way out here? Could it be that he was trying to conquer Glorisa's heart once again? Or maybe he wanted to get revenge on Onreifni for the last encounter. Whatever the reason was, everyone at the table stayed quiet and waited for a response.

    Alexander: Just wanted to congratulate you and the rest of your team for yesterday's win.

    Glorisa: Hmm, are you sure Father and Mother didn't send you to watch over me?

    Alexander: Well the King and Queen did send me-

    Glorisa: Ah-ha! I knew it! When I get back to the capital they will hear what I have to say-

    Alexander: There will be no need for that. The King and Queen have complete trust in your decisions and actions. I'm actually here because I have to talk to Onreifni.

    Onreifni: M-Me? What did I do? I swear it was not me this time.

    Alexander: It's nothing bad, on the contrary, they are some pretty exciting news. So if I could talk to you... privately, please.

    Briotami: *hugs his arm* Onreifni can't go now because we are getting prepared to leave for District 30.

    Glorisa: I'm sure they won't take long, right Alexander?
