It was the Summer of 2022 and the NAT was taking place in West Ahris, District 14. This was the first year that Team Naju was going to participate in this annual event. The Commander and her second in command, Dujas, had dreamed of this moment their entire lives. Ycka and Jessachi, as well as the other new recruits, were all really excited. The party was made of 9 strong members, classifying themselves as a "Team" they were prepared or so they thought.

Commander: Good work on today's event, tomorrow is Day 5 of the tournament which is our last chance to get enough points to qualify for the Leaders Brawl.

Dujas: We've worked hard to get here. Let's all get a good night's rest and be ready to go in with everything tomorrow.

Dujas gave a thumbs up to The Commander and she replied with a nod. Everyone went to sleep except for Jessachi, she stayed up and watched the stars from the apartment balcony. A light refreshing breeze swayed her hair from side to side. Looking at the stars, Jessachi could only hope to reunite with her long-lost childhood friend.

Ycka: Makes you wonder if there is anyone up there looking down on us...

Jessachi: What do you want Ycka?

Ycka: Went to the bathroom and saw you were awake.

Jessachi: Well now that you have confirmed that, go back to bed.

Ycka: Ahh I'm not really that sleepy anymore, besides who can sleep with the loud snoring of Jecous.

Jecous was one of the original members of Team Naju. A big fellow with a big heart. Jessachi kept chatting back and forth as the night went on. Suddenly they heard discord in the background. They went to investigate who else could be up at this time at night and found themselves in front of The Commander's room. With the light shining from under the door, they got closer to hear the conversation.

Commander:... No! For the last time, we are not doing that Dujas! We put too much work and tears to be at this point and time.

Dujas: I am telling you that if we want to make our dream a reality we need to increase stronger members!

Commander: How? By cutting off people? We promised them a victory. How are we just going to abandon them?

Dujas: Fine, we need to recruit more members then. What we lack in strength we will make up in numbers.

Commander: It's already enough to run a Team and now you want to run a Guild? Do you know how much money and resources we would even need to have to get started? We are barely making it through each month. We can not afford to gain any recruits any time soon.

Ycka and Jessachi did their best to try to understand what was happening. Where did all of this drama come from? To the Team, The Commander and Dujas were almost like lifelong friends, and yet here they were at each other's throats. By the way that they exchanged their dialogue, it was safe to assume that tension between them had been going on for a while. For how long? Only The Commander would know.

Dujas: We are going to get destroyed at tomorrow's event because of your pride and selfishness. You have to choose between quality and quantity. You have to pick one or we are certain to fail.

Commander: You don't know that. Your lack of faith in your own teammates is what is blinding you.

Dujas: You don't care about anyone else besides yourself. Don't come crying to me tomorrow after your inevitable defeat. I had really high hopes for us... Briagi.

And just as Dujas predicted, Team Naju got completely crushed by the enemy parties. A simple game of Flag Snatching turned into a disaster. A simple game where you tie two flags to your waist and your goal is to snatch the flags from your enemies. Once both flags have been snatched you are eliminated. Team Naju quickly got surrounded by Guild parties and got whipped out within the first half. They finished 37th place that day. With not enough points to move on to Day 6, Team Naju was eliminated from that NAT that year.
