Chapter 5: Kapten Who?

Ycka: Hurry up loser, you're slowing us down.

Onreifni: Well maybe if we would've taken a break as I said earlier we wouldn't be this slow.

Onreifni and Ycka were exchanging insults on their way to a mission. Jessachi was in front of them walking as their guardian.

Jessachi: You guys act like little kids.

Ycka and Onreifni: No we don't!

Their mission was to help a village that was being raided near the border of West Ahris. Reports of suspicious creatures were received, and it was up to Ycka, Jessachi, and Onreifni to figure out what was happening.

Onreifni: Why did I even have to come, I'm sure you two could've handled it.

Ycka: Lazy as always.

Jessachi: Because you've never been on a mission before, and The Commander thought this would be a great experience for you.

Onreifni: The Commander is so bossy, can't wait to get my memory back and find my actual purpose.

Ycka: Yeah because I'm sure you get tired of being a punching bag.

Onreifni and Ycka wouldn't stop arguing, eventually, they would drive Jessachi mad. The sun was setting, nightfall was coming. The group made a stop by a quiet stream.

Jessachi: Here. *pointing at the ground* We will set up camp here.

Onreifni: Camp? Out here?! Are you crazy what if we get attacked by a wild beast or something.

Jessachi: We will take turns as a lookout, since you seem scared you'll get first watch.

Onreifni: Me? Scared? What? No! Never!

Ycka: Good, then it should be no sweat for you.

Onreifni: But-

Jessachi: I'll cover the next watch, so for now good night.

Onreifni: But I-

Jessachi: Good night!

Ycka and Jessachi tucked in around the campfire and fell asleep. Onreifni was sitting on a log and staring into the fire. Many hours passed and nothing happened. The fire was dying and there was no more wood. "I better get more wood," Onreifni suggested to himself. As he was getting up from the log he heard leaves crackling, it came from the forest. The bushes were shaking and it sounded like it was some kind of beast. Onreifni quickly got a weapon to defend himself.

Onreifni: I-I'm not afraid of you, whatever you are. I have a -*looking at his small dagger* I have a big massive deadly weapon and I'm not afraid of using it!

His claim didn't seem to make a difference, the creature kept getting closer and closer. The bush was shaking more violently now, and suddenly the creature jumped out. It was ugly, it had pail white hair, red eyes, big ears, and two huge teeth.

Onreifni: Jessachi! Ycka!

They both quickly got up to see the creature. They couldn't believe it. The creature was a rabbit.

Ycka: Onreifni you idiot! That's just a rabbit!

Onreifni: A what?

Jessachi: *shaking her head* Ugh, Onreifni a rabbit is a small defenseless animal.

Onreifni: Well how was I supposed to know.

Jessachi: Good point. *yawns* I think that's enough for you, I'll take watch from here.
