Chapter 6: First Enemy of Many

"Onreifni! What are you doing?!" Jessachi demanded to know. What mess have they gotten themselves in, what started off as a normal shopping day turned into a fight between Onreifni and a granny.

Granny: Come on you sad excuse for a man, punch harder!

Onreifni: *making a fist with his right hand* What did you just say, granny?

Granny: A 5-year-old hits harder than you!

Onreifni was getting pissed, he didn't want to fight an elderly woman. It felt wrong but he had no choice. The last ube cake was at stake!

Onreifni: This is your last warning granny. Let go of the cake, or so help me!

Granny: *pulling cake towards her* Over my dead body.

How did things get this out of control? Well, it all started that very same morning. Onreifni was talking to Glorisa at the breakfast table.

Glorisa: So Onreifni, *handing him a card* here you go.

Onreifni: What's this?

Glorisa: It's your currency card. Since you completed your first mission you finally have some money to spend.

As Onreifni and Glorisa were talking and walking they turned the corner and ran into Jessachi. Bang! Onreifni basically headbutted Jessachi and they both fell to the ground.

Jessachi: Ow! Watch where you're walking idiot!

Jessachi fell on her button and her skirt was lifted in front of Onreifni , he had fallen forward.

Onreifni: Ow *rubs his forehead* sor-

Suddenly someone had to come and make the situation more awkward.

Atlat: Hey, nice white striped panties!

Jessachi: BAKA! HENTAI! (Idiot! Perv!)

Jessachi embarrassed by the comment slaps Onreifni across the face, making him do a 360 in mid-air.

Onreifni: But I didn't even say anything!

Glorisa just laughed, it's true that Onreifni and Jessachi were spending more time together than usual but she didn't think much of it. Then suddenly red lights were flashing and an alarm went off.

Onreifni: What's happening?

Commander: *through the speaker* All team members report to the conference room on the double!

Glorisa: Come on let's go!

All three rushed towards the conference room. The room had a large circular table and in the center, there was a device. A device that displayed a hologram. Ycka notices that Onreifni had a slap mark on his cheek.

Ycka: *whispers* Whoa, what happened to you?

Onreifni: *rubbing his cheek* None of your business!

Commander: So I have gathered you guys because an unforeseen situation has come up.

Jessachi: Well what is it, Commander?

Ycka: Are we fighting monsters?

Briotami: A gang of villains?

Glorisa: Or could it be a quest from the nation?

Commander: No, something more important. Today is the last day to get the delicious delectable ube cake.

Onreifni: A cake? What's so important about a damn cake.
