04. I Carry Your Heart With Me

Five Years From Now,

"Dad!" Mia yelled, running downstairs and right into her father's arms, "Dad, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to".

"Woah, what's wrong Mia?" Kol asked, kneeling infront of his daughter, who was crying.

"She accidentally siphoned from me" Alec informed, as him and Asher walked downstairs.

When the triplets were two years old, that's when Asher and Alec started showing signs of having magic, but Mia didn't concerning Aria but Kol had assured her that eventually her magic will come as well, when Mia turned three, Kol and Aria realised Mia was a siphoner witch when one night when she was unwell and was crying in pain, she accidentally ended up siphoning some of Aria's magic, making her parents realise she didn't have her own magic instead she was a siphoner witch, making her Uncle Kai very happy, who when ever visited her, made sure to teach her magic while Kol taught Alec and Asher and Aria made sure Kol and Kai didn't corrupt her children.

Asher and Alec knew what their sister was, but they never made fun of her, instead whenever their sister accidentally siphoned from them, they went into protective older brothers mode and made sure their baby sister was okay and stopped her from feeling bad.

Kol sighed, knowing Mia always felt bad about hurting people, even if it was accidental, "Mia, it was an accident, so why are you crying?" he asked.

Mia hugged her father, "I hurt Alec" she whispered.

"But I'm not hurt" Alec said, "Look at me Mia, I'm perfectly fine".

"No" Mia mumbled, "You yelled in pain when I grabbed your arm".

"Mia, you didn't mean to hurt him, he made you angry, it was his fault you lost control" Asher said, "Right, Alec?".

Alec nodded, "Totally".

Mia shook her head and tightened her hold on her father.

"Alright, Alec and Asher, why don't you two bring some blankets from upstairs, tonight we are going to watch Mia's favorite movie" Kol said, picking Mia up in his arms.

"Little Mermaid?" Mia mumbled into her father's shoulder.

"Obviously" Alec replied, running upstairs with his brother to grab some blankets.

Kol smiled at the two, Alec and Asher both hated Little Mermaid with everything they had but they would gladly sit and watch Little Mermaid if it meant their little sister would smile again.

"Am I weak?" Mia asked, as Kol sat her down on the couch in the living room.

"Why do you ask that?" Kol asked confused.

"Mom, Alec and Asher have their own magic, but I don't, doesn't that make me weak?" Mia asked.

"No my dear Mia, it makes you special" Kol replied, placing his daughter into his lap.

"How?" Mia asked confused.

"Every witch has their own magic, but there are very rare cases of witches like you" Kol replied, "You are very powerful Mia Salvatore, never doubt your strength".
