01. Day One Of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give Or Take
Five Years From Now,
Kol Mikaelson entered his house and immediately someone crashed into him and hugged his legs.
"Woah, careful Nova" Kol said, steadying the St. John girl before she fell.
"Uncle Kol, Alec is being mean to me again" Nova complained.
"Don't listen to her dad!" Alec yelled, running over to the duo, "I am innocent, look at my innocent face do you really think I can be mean to her?".
Kol chuckled at Alec's antics, "Nova, what did he do this time?".
"He keeps pulling my hair and everytime I try to run to his mom, he keeps using his magic to make sure I can't move" Nova complained.
Kol turned to his son, "What did we say about magic in the house?".
"Well, mom said no magic in the house but you said we should never put a restriction on our magic" Alec said, giving his father a cheeky smile.
Kol shook his head, "You are going to get me into so much trouble with your mother".
"I would never" Alec said, "As long as you keep this Nova thing between you and me".
Kol looked at Alec in amusement, "Are you blackmailing me?" he asked.
"No, I'm doing what you do to Uncle Nik" Alec replied, "You tell me if he doesn't do something for you then you will tell on him to Care Bear".
Kol faceplamed, "Remind me not to blackmail Nik infront of you" he mumbled, he then picked Nova up in his arms, "Come on Nova, let's get you to your best friend".
"You mean my future husband" Nova corrected.
Kol chuckled, "Yes, your future husband, he will protect you from Alec".
"He always does, which is why Alec always makes sure I can't reach him" Nova said.
"Well, I'm Alec's father, he can't stop me" Kol said, glancing at his son who was glaring at Nova.
"No brother of mine will marry her!" Alec stated.
"Show some respect Alec, we're going be family soon" Nova teased, making Kol chuckle.
"Mom!" Alec yelled, running away from his father and Nova, "I promise you all I will leave this house if Nova comes here one more time!".
"He says this all the time" Nova told Kol, "Does it not get tiring?".
"Alec get tired of doing drama?" Kol asked, "Not possible".
"I agree" Nova said, "But don't tell Alec, he might set my hair on fire".
"Your secret is safe with me" Kol assured, carrying Nova to where her future husband was.
