The rest of the day, I was in a Mood. My friends seems to sense it.

"You look sad, Kathleen." Mireya tells me. We are sitting in our classroom, and our history teacher hasn't arrived yet. I turn to find my brown eyed friend looking at me with concern. Her brown hair is thrown over one shoulder in a French braid. Her father is one of the governors in our kingdom.

I think about disagreeing but then decide to just say the truth. She'll find out about it anyways.

"The Nuotier twins are arriving next week." I confide. Becky, who was sitting in front of me talking with Jess turns around. The class desks are arranged two by two so it's me and Mireya and Jess and Becky in front.

"Really?"

"Yeah." I say. An audible groan goes around my friends.

"They are the worst aren't they?" Becky says sympathetically. Being a govener's daughter, she doesn't really have to interact with the guest royals. None of them have to. It's just me who have to face them idiots.

I let out a sigh. "Yeah, but I'll be fine" I give my friends a smile.

"I know you will." Tris assures me. "Your obviously-"

At that moment, Mrs. Swarn enters the room. Every student in the class stands up to greet the teacher. I give my friends a bright smile turn my attention to our teacher.

The thing about attending a school filled with the kids of the elite families is that everyone is well behaved. The minus side is that everyone is trying to prove that they are the best. But the good news is that no one treats me bad. I keep up my good girl reputation and everyone sees me as a shy, fragile girl who has the hottest brother in the kingdom. Except that that brother also happens to be the crown prince with standards no one even in this school can achieve. Unless it's true love, of course. Good thing he already found that.

My brother is the kind of person who revels in attention. He has all the ladies swooning and all the men trying to prove themselves to him. He practically has confidence oozing off him. Unlike me, who would die rather than give a speech to a crowd. Forget about crowds, I can't even talk to anyone outside my comfort zone without stuttering and awkward long pauses.

My comfort zone include my fam, a few palace workers(include Dicker and Mrs. Wells), my three friends and my only princess friend, Roselina.

Roselina. I really miss her. We have been friends since we were 8 years old. The thing is she's from another kingdom and we rarely get to see each other. We send letters weekly, yet I wish she was here so we can be moody together. She has always been an older sister for me. We usually visit each other once in three months or so, but I get to see her more often now that she and my bother are dating. Yeah. You guessed it. She's my brother's true love. I'm really glad it's her.

"Today, we will be discussing about the advantages of ..." Mrs. Swan starts the class and I zone back in to the present.

After the final bell rings, I put on my backpack and wait for the others.

"- is tomorrow?" I only hear the last part of Becky's question.

"Yup, that's tomorrow," Jesse answers. I draw back to listen to the conversation. "Are you auditioning?" Auditioning what?

"Nah. I don't think so." Becky tells Jesse.

"What audition?" I ask them.

They give me a meaningful look. "Audition for the school choir." Jesse tells me."You gonna try?"
