I'm still trying to process what happened in the History period. I still can't believe it. I missed a whole lesson! Hopefully, that lesson won't come to the exam.

Ahhhhhhhhh

And Theodoric...we exchanged notes in the middle of a class. I mean...seriously?

What's happening to me?

I'm still embarrassed that I couldn't answer the question teacher asked. Becky and Mireya teased me horribly for it.

"Can you believe it? Prince Theodoric was sitting in your seat!" I turn to see Lyn gazing longingly at Mireya, who laughs.

"I know right!"

Lyn giggles, "Kathleen forgot the whole lesson sitting next to him! Well, who can blame her? I would too if I was sitting next to him,"

My face burns. Omg! That's what they think?

I resist the urge to cover my face.

Can someone kill me, please? Now would be good.

Everyone laughs. Mireya pats me on the back.

"Poor you." She says, still laughing.

I'm trying my best to put the incident out of my head when we head to the chemistry lab. But of course, the demon himself is still in school.

This time, Theodoric is surrounded by girls and boys. I see Ollie standing nearest to him.

"Ooooo. Look who's here." Becky wriggles her eyebrows at me. I roll my eyes at her. Despite everything they're saying, I know it's just teasing. Nothing serious.

As we pass the eager group of students surrounding the dream Prince, I see that Ollie is saying something to Theodoric. It included a lot of smiles and eyelash batting. Theodoric, in return, was giving his full attention, gazing at her with interest.

Huh. Guess she was right. He's already wrapped around her finger.

Not that I care.

Luckily, my friends too share the same brain as me, so we don't linger.

We pass the ever-expanding crowd of students.

"Kathleen!"

I freeze in my tracks as I hear my name called by a very familiar voice. A very familiar voice that belonged to a Prince.

I glance at my friends. They look at me with equally surprised expressions. I gulp.

"Kathleen," I turn to find Theodoric approaching me. With him, the whole crowd came.

I prepare myself for the worst and most embarrassing day of my life.

"Oh, Hello," I say as Theodoric stops in front of me. Ollie stands right next to him. She has an overly cheerful face that scares me.

"You're a bad guide," Theodoric announces. I look at him, alarmed,

"I...am?"

"Yes. I'm supposed to go to the Swimming Pool, but I can't remember the way," he tells me.

Seriously? And why is it my fault?

The Swimming Pool is on the other side of the school grounds. It has a building of its own and it's the best in the city.

"Oh..umm...I could - " I start but Ollie cuts in.

"I could show you the way, your highness," she says sweetly. She changes her position so that she's slightly leaning toward him. Is this seduction in real life? If so, it's disgusting. And weird.
