Joanna and her best friend Jeyne Westerling walked around the woods close to Casterly Rock.
The two just playing around as Joanna had been visiting from Kings Landing. She missed Jeyne a lot and wanted nothing more than to be around her closest friend. "Where are we going?" Joanna asked her friend softly.
"Why don't we get our futures told to us?" Jeyne told the girl who smirked in response allowing Jeyne to grab Joannas hand and drag her off further into the woods.
Joanna knew she'd get in trouble for disappearing but she didn't care. She was with Jeyne who was not only her best friend, but also Daemons betrothed who would soon be Joannas sister by law.
The two girls laughed as they approached a ragged tent and walked in.
The two looked around in fascination until they heard a noise before seeing someone sit up from a makeshift bed. "Leave!" The person instructed the two girls.
"I am Heir to Casterly Rock and the west. These are my lands. Why should I leave my lands?" Joanna asked the woman in a calm voice
"You are kinder than your mother was..." she asked "I am Maggy." She added on
"You have met my mother?" Joanna asked softly as the woman nodded her head yes. "I want to know my future... I may not like it but I want to know." She continued
"I'd need some of your blood," Maggy replied handing the girl a knife.
Immediately Joanna took it and without hesitation, sliced her palm allowing the blood to pool.
Maggy grabbed a small bowl which let Joanna pour the blood into it then the witch handed her a cloth to let her wrap her cut.
Maggy then drank the blood before looking at Joanna. "Ask away. With how much you gave me, it warrants however many questions you may have." Maggy told the girl softly
"Will I marry the heir to Winterfell and have a long life with him?" Joanna asked the woman as Robb Stark was her first thought
"You will marry him. But you will not have a long enough life with him." Maggy told her in a soft tone. "You will have three of his children however two will be at your side for a very long time." She continued
"Will I have a long life with anyone?" Joanna asked with wide watery eyes.
"You will marry three more times after. You will birth seven more children. Ten total. One will not be yours. Nine will be at your side for a very long time." Maggy answered
"Who are these men?" Joanna asked after glancing over at Jeyne who had been standing outside looking at the girl but unable to hear what Joanna asked and what her answers were
"One a prince, one a never known prince and heir, the last a prince and rightful king," Maggy told the woman who looked at her in shock and confusion. "But you will end up with the prince."
"They're all princes..." Joanna trailed in confusion
"You'll understand when the time comes."
"I'm done..." Joanna whispered looking at Jeyne to tell her it was her turn.
Joanna then left the tent and waited for Jeyne to finish. Soon after Jeyne walked out looking down.
After a moment, Jeyne looked up at Joanna and immediately the two made a non-verbal pact to never tell a soul or each other what they asked the witch or what the witch told them. Not until those futures came to pass.
