Ahana POV

Remembering the past makes my eyes well up with tears. How is it possible that we both loved each other in the past and shared some sweet memories and separated without any major cause. Situations played tough with us, he left and everything changed in my life, I have gone through so much trying to forget the memories all together but ending up in the same path that Atharva left me.

The weird thing was I was never angry at him for leaving me, I always believed he never cheated me, he told me he had an emergency at home and he left, he also gave me a parting email where he apologised for not being there for me. I had trust on my fate that something would go wrong and it did go wrong. He left because life happened to him, I never knew what situation did he encounter but I knew one thing he is not the kind who would have left me with out a huge reason. The day that he left me was the day I started getting depressed, I let go of the personal interview of the company I was selected for, I dint go to the campus jobs, I was just there in my room without speaking to anyone, and my principal let me on a little secret when he saw me depressed.

He told me how Atharva visited him and told him what was happening in his life and it was huge because of which he was planning to take me with him because he would need me in that moment of trauma but Principal sir discouraged him with it because I would be losing out on the best opportunity of my life with the job and an amazing research opportunity which would go into the journals, Atharva requested him if Sir could keep a hold on that offer but principal sir showed him the reality on what might happen if I lose the opportunity because they would not hold and wait for me, I would have gone to abroad doing nothing but being a shoulder to cry on and the whole time, success, efforts everything will go into vain. He had parents and relatives who loved him and will support him, if he gave up his Civil post he will still has his business from his dad, but what will I have ? I did not even have parents support. Listening to this Atharva decided to let me live my dreams while he sorts it out, he hoped that he would get back to me one day but before that many things happened and I had to get married to a Douchebag.

Anyways, the talk by the principal sir inspired me to do well though I was angry on him for interfering in between but I have to agree that he wanted me to do my best. I started recovering and did my 1 year executive MBA and got a better placement after which I started working. It has not been 6 months since I started working when I got to know my parents arranged this marriage. They emotionally blackmailed me, they played the we are doing so much for you card, which surprisingly they did when I was going through a flood of emotions, I dint have a lot of money to do the executive MBA, I only had a part of it, they offered to pay, they even let me be when I was depressed, they gave me time till I started my job to force me in to the wedding. As Viraj payed for their business ambitions I was coerced into it. As his parents were open minded, sweet and he was a chilled guy I agreed but I never knew the real truth until now.

Right now me and Atharva had all the plan in place, after my training we have a set trap for him where he will sing his truth and placed behind the bars. Its just some more time before he falls into his own trap.
