Ahana POV

I looked at the new entrant in the room waiting for the plan to unfold. The new entrant came and stood beside me with his hands folded, giving me the respect and a chance to reveal the twist.

Me: You think you are the person who has a upper hand here, you are absolutely wrong. This is Atharva, he is actually my guy, he was your right hand, you planned my kidnapping with him, you asked him to take me away and kill me but guess what, he was the one who kidnapped me and told me each and every dirty secrets of your's, he is the one who made a plan in such a way that you are here, sitting before us like a criminal, all your misdeeds exposed.

Viraj looked shocked

Viraj: You back stabber, why would you do that? Why would you cheat me? Did you want more money ? Were you so blind with greed that you did this and now you are blackmailing me so that I pay you more ? Listen, I will pay you more, come to my side. Kill her and we will sort our differences okay ? Why would you even go to her team? What do you even get from her? Look if you desired to share her bed, you could have told me, I would have allowed you to do that before you killed her Dammit!! You dint have to do all this !!!

Atharva: Do you want to do the honors ?

Viraj: What honors ? What are you going to do ? Dude, lets talk it out, come on !!

I went close to him and gave him a tight punch on his cheek with my fists, his cheek bruised in the color of pink, like he applied a blush

He tried to hurt me back, I caught his hand mid air and pushed it down, while slapping him with my left hand. As he was stumbling with alcohol in his system, it made my work easy as it all happened in seconds, just the way I rehearsed.

He looked at me with anger and caught my throat in his two hands trying to suffocate me, good job Viraj, I pulled my leg up and stomped his feet with my shoes, as these were custom made shoes, and his feet were bare, it hurt him, at the same time Atharva punched him in the stomach making him fall off.

Me: That is why elders say, alcohol and smoking consumption is injurious to health, people just wont listen, you got so foolish and dumb that you revealed your true self to him. Me: I  might be a wife and a daughter but I am a women first and a human being next, the minute I came to know the person you are and who is backing you up that minute you are all criminals to me and as a human being and a citizen of India, I condemn this crime. Now there is law enforcement coming up, they are going to arrest you. You have given us a free statement, this house was bugged hence you have agreed for your own crimes without much effort.

We walked out and when we were near the elevator we heard a gun shot and the press announcing that Viraj has put a bullet to his brain. Next comes my parents, as we drew to my parents house, we saw all the press and cops already there. We walked inside and I had one question.

Me: After my failed love story , I was depressed , sad and lonely. I thought you guys are supporting me but you just made me as a bait. What wrong did I do ? Why did you get me married to that person, you are already rich, you had everything but still you did that.

My dad: You stupid women, after you got pregnant after your self announced fiance left what could we do, you were adamant to have that baby, thank god that baby died in your womb or else we would have never got you married. Viraj came at the right time, he saw you at one of our public gatherings and liked you. Such a fool he was to like you when you were sad and depressed after your lover boy left you and a miscarraige. Me: I was such a dummy to have believed you then, I never understood why after my marriage you guys put your distance though you acted so sweet during the time I carried a baby. Now I understand. Thank you for all the support you have shown during that time but now you are going behind the bars.

Our Family Maid :  They were only nice to you because they dint want you to suspect that they killed your baby.

Me: What ??

Our family maid was with us for years now, when my parents started ignoring me, she took pity and started taking care of me. She has become my friend, confidant and a mother to me though in secret because when I got close to her she got a yelling from my mom saying that she has to take care of my sister too, so we kept some distance when they were in the house which was very little as they had busy social life. Now when she is telling me that my baby was killed by them, I believe them.

Our Family Maid Yashoda : Yes Baby Ji, I saw them put the medicine in your milk which caused you an extreme stomach pain and you miscarried. When I confronted them, I was blackmailed saying they would kill me and my family while hurting you more too as they know I love you like your mother.

Me: YOU KILLED MY BABY??

I lashed out and I jumped on them, using my fists and legs trying to hurt them as much as possible. Atharva who was mum and cold after hearing about my pregnancy composed himself and ran forward to pull me from doing any damage, the rate that I was going I would have pulled their heart from their chest and stomped on it just like they did to me.

When I was assisted outside Atharva was calm, when we reached a park near by he stopped me and asked the question that was bugging him

Atharva: Were you pregnant with our baby Ahana ? 

All I could do was nod my head
