Chapter 27

Ahana POV

You know when you are in love your world looks so much brighter and your life seems more meaningful. We both know we had strong feelings for each other but we also now how important it is that we make our dreams come true before jumping into a long term relationship. Even though we have not given a name yet, we speak about what kind of life we want for each other, we spoke about what all we want to achieve after we are together, we spoke about what kind of home do we want, where would we set it up, which all places we would be travelling and designing our own wishlists.

The more we speak about it, the more it appears to be a reality in future. In a few days it would be the time when Atharva will have his competitive exams, after which we will have university exams. There are companies coming for placements after a week and then it is going to be our commencement ceremony. We have applied for companies which we are interested in, he applied to them with me because he wanted to try them out and keep this as an option if he cannot do well in the exams, he said he will work until the next year which is when he can give the exams again. I like his determination and spirit when he says things like that. He makes efforts to do well and even if it does not succeed he is making safety plans until he can make his dream come true. He is not giving up, he is not giving up on us.

I was folding my clothes which I just got from the laundry when I got his message to come to my balcony, I asked him why ? but he told me that he was waiting for me there. Oh, this silly guy, if someone spots him, he will be in trouble for sure. He is MAD. I ran to the balcony and as it is late and dark I could not see anyone so we are saved, apparently he climbed up the pipe, by hiding from the watchman. Oh my god, what is this? If this guy would be someone else, a intruder, then we were so dead, thank god we bolt and lock this door everyday. In mornings anyone can spot him but because it is the back side of the hostel no one spotted him yet but it is dangerous to climb in such a way as I was on 1 st floor. 

Me: Stupid what are you doing here ? If anyone sees u here they will grill you live, leave right now

Atharva: You know what is amusing, even though you are happy I am here, you are acting all rude and bossy telling me to leave. 

Me: Oh I am sorry was I rude ?? Well, I thought this was the way I talk to someone who jump on other's balconies in the middle of the night, may be I should shout and awaken everyone.

He smiled at my words and pulled me towards himself 

Atharva: Tommorow is my exam, Ahana I am so scared. I ....

Me: You don't have to be scared Atharva, you have done your best, rest all leave it to god and your luck. Dont stress because you are prepared okay ? 

Atharva: Okay

He laid his back towards the wall at the back of him and held my hand

Atharva: Wish me luck Ahanaa, I need all the good wishes I can get

Me: You know what normally my maid used to tell me that curd with sugar brings good luck but I neither have sugar or curd what to do?

Atharva: I have a milky bar, it has nuts, milk and sugar, you can feed this to me it brings good luck

I took a piece out and fed it to him, he really liked this brand of the milky bar so I can see him enjoying it, his child like love for this bar made me swoon, I took a step towards him and kissed him on his cheek, he was shocked by my gesture and dint move for a second.

Me: This is my good luck kiss, hope it brings you lots of success in future

Atharva: Did you just ... Kiss me ?

Me: Did I ?

Atharva: I think you did

Me: I am going to disagree with that 

He smiled and stood beside me resting his hands on the railing.

Atharva: You know one day, you will kiss me without any inhabitations, then when I ask if you kissed me, you will say "ofcourse I kissed you, I have a right on you sweetheart",

Me: Hmm that's true, but I will say "Ofcourse I kissed you stupid",

He looked at me flabbergasted 

Atharva: Would you seriously call me stupid

Me: I have much more colorful names if you don't go right now

Atharva: Fine, I am going

He climbed down quickly like a monkey and left after saying goodbye while I stood there remembering his shocked face when I kissed his face.

How did I get so bold?

Hopefully the result of this exam will not spoil our relationship like before
