Chapter 11 - "The Oasis of Hathor"

"Shit Director, how did that happen?" Steve says.

"Language Captain." Charlotte chuckles.

"You were right, it was a ruse to keep us distracted. As soon as you crossed over into Onsoy. Barton attacked the ship. He used an EMP arrow and disable the whole thing."

"What about Stark and Banner?" Natasha asks concerned.

"We moved them to a secure location."

"So what did you guys find out in there?"

"Hella wants to take Banner's power to break the shield that protects the gem. But we have to get to it first."

"And how to you propose we do that?" Fury questions them.

"Well, Hella might be willing to kill Banner for what she wants but we are not."

"We have another opinion?"

"We do Director, but it is not a fun one. We have to ask my Father to let us use Gungnir, witch he will never agree too or so we will have to steal it."

"So kill Banner or Steal from Odin. Those are both horrible options."

"Yes. They are Director."

"So I suggest, we split up. Thor, you go with Loki to Asgard. And we will meet up with Stark and Banner, and protect him as much as we can from Hella."

"Sounds like a plan Captain." Charlotte salutes and giggles.

"Lady Charlotte , I believe you should stay here."

"No Thor, if we are going home Charlotte will be joining us. I will not leave her behind."

"Suit yourself Loki. But we will not be travelling by Byfrost, we will be lucky to get in to Asgard without Heimdal seeing us."

"So Thor, how exactly are we getting to Asgard."

"Well, Loki, you are not the only one with tricks up his sleeves. Director, before you head to to meet with Banner and Stark. Can you leave us in Cairo?"

"Egypt?"

"Yes, I have a friend there that can help."

They all board the QuinJet and it take off for Cairo.

"So Thor, who is this friend we are going to meet and how can they help us get to Asgard?" Charlotte asks.

"Well about 500 years ago, I came to earth for a bit a fun. You know I was young and very...excited. I found this beautiful Oasis in the middle of the Egyptian dessert. It's in that Oasis that I met the goodness Hathor. She should be able to help us get into Asgard undetected."

"Thor, why would she help us?"

"Because Lady Charlotte, she is the mother of my daughter Pruor."

"What?" Everyone in the room exclaims at the same time.

"Does Jane know about this?" Natasha ask Thor.

"Um...no?"

"Ok none of my business." Natasha holds up her hands.

Just then they arrive right outside Cairo and they land just outside the city. They all exchange their goodbyes and Charlotte, Thor and Loki go down the ramp off the Jet.

"You guys don't do anything I wouldn't do." Natasha says to the trio.

"Nat, in our line of work, I'm sure there's nothing you won't do." Steve says, the ramp closes and the jet takes off.

"Well Thor, where too?"

"Lady Charlotte, last time is was here was about 100 years ago. I'm hoping she is still where she was then.
