A few seconds later, Charlotte and Loki arrive back in Asgard. Again Charlotte feels dizzy when the steps out of the Bifrost portal. Heimdall is there to greet them.
"Your majesties, you have returned already."
"The princess would like to learn more about her powers before she returns to Midgard for a longer stay." He looks at Charlotte and notices that she looks pale.
"Charlotte, are you feeling all right?"
"Yeah, I'm good, I really don't like that thing." She points to the portal.
"Darling, this is more than just the portal affecting you."
"I haven't really eaten anything today, I guess that could be why."
"Well then let us go join Thor in dining hall. It looks to be about supper time."
"Great, I'm starving! See you later Heimdall! " Loki wraps his arm around her and they teleport to the palace. They arrive outside the doors of the dining hall. Loki goes to open the doors and Charlotte stops him.
"Loki, we are not really dressed for dinner with the King." She points to their casual Midgardian outfits.
"Oh, let me remedy that Darling." He uses his Seidhr to change them both instantly, him in his Asgardian formal wear and Charlotte in a beautiful blue gown.
"Thank you." She reaches up to kiss him.
"Shall we?" he hold out his arm and he opens to doors. The couple walk in the dining hall to be greeted by Thor and his friends. Charlotte notices a new face at the table, a small brunette sitting at the right Thor.
"Brother! Lady Charlotte! You have returned already!" They approach Thor.
"Your majesty." Loki bows
"My King" Charlotte curtsies.
"Yes, yes, come here brother" Thor grabs Loki and crushes him in a big hug.
"Thor" Loki croaks out while rolling his eyes. Thor lets him go and steps back.
"You both look well." He smiles.
"We are. But my princess is very hungry." Loki chuckles.
"Please have a seat!" Thor points to the two chair to his left.
Loki pulls a chair out for Charlotte and she sits. She looks across the table to the small brunette and they both smile at each other. Both Thor and Loki also sit down.
"So, Thor are you going to introduce us?"
"Oh! Yes, sorry." He grabs the brunette's hand.
"My Love, Dr. Jane Foster, this is my brother Loki Odinson and his lady love, Dr. Charlotte Sloan."
"Doctor?" both women say at the same time and they both start to giggle.
"Yeah, I'm a medical doctor. I was finishing my residency in emergency medicine when all this happened."
"That must come in handy with these two around" Jane says with a big smile.
"Jane is an astrophysicist. She is here to study the Bifrost." Thor says proudly.
"Astrophysicist?" Loki asks
"Yes, I study the human anatomy, she studies how the universe works." Charlotte replies.
"Yes, I believe the Bifrost is connected to Einstein-Rosen bridge theory."
"OK, that is some spacy stuff." Charlotte giggles.
