A few hours later Charlotte wakes up from her nap felling much better. She notices that she is by herself in the room so she decides to go take a bath. She walk into the washroom and start to run the water. She starts searching around the room for some bubble bath. She open one of the cabinets and a bright pink box catches her eye. Asgardian tampons, she laugh. She puts the box back and see a few different bottle with labels she can't read. She opens one carefully and it smells like lilacs. Perfect. She pours a few drops in the bath water and undresses. She steps in the tub and feels her limbs melt in the hot water.
She lies back and lets her body relax. Her thoughts start to drift when all of a sudden they start to drift in a specific direction. Shit! When was the last time she had her period? How long has she been running with Loki? SHIT! She gets out of the tub and dries herself off quickly. She uses her Seidhr to dress and heads out the door to find Loki.
She starts to panic a bit more so she start to jog down the hallway. She checks the dining room and the gardens. She then runs to the throne room and find Thor.
"Thor! Where is Loki?"
"Lady Charlotte, are you all right? You look a bit panicked."
"Thor. Where is he?" She growls at him
"I believe he is in the library" She rushes off and Thor looks at her bewildered. She runs down to hallway to the library and opens the big wooden doors.
"LOKI!" She yells out of breath. She runs up the rows of bookshelves and finally finds Loki standing in front of a seating area.
"Charlotte?" he looks at her, while she tries to recover her breath.
"Loki, I, um, how long have we been together?"
"Darling?"
"Just answer me, please"
"I believe about 6 weeks."
"And we slept together when?"
"Uh?"
"Loki" She growls
"I would say about 3 weeks ago?"
"Ok, this is so not happening."
"Charlotte, please tell what is wrong. You seem a bit frazzled." Charlotte starts to pace the room. She walks up and down a few rows of bookshelves while mumbling to herself.
"It would be too early to know right? I mean it's only been 3 weeks. Right?" Loki can see that she is struggling with something but he does not understand what.
"Charlotte, please stop and tell me what you are talking about" Loki grabs her hand to snap her out of her mumbling daze.
"Please Darling" he squeezes her hand. She finally stops mumbling and looks into his eyes.
"We never used protection." She whispers
"Protection against what Darling?" replies confused.
"I, um, I need to go see the healer. Now" Loki sees how serious she looks and teleports them directly to the healing room.
"Eir, are you here?" The head healer come out of a small office.
"Your majesties. I was just about to come see you." She says with a smile. Charlotte looks at the older woman and her face drops.
"It's true" she gasp out and put her hand in front of her mouth.
"What's true?" Loki looks at Charlotte to see her run past him and throw up the in a garbage can.
"I'll go get her a glass of water" Eir says.
"Charlotte" Loki comes up behind her and hold her hair back from her face. Once she is done, Charlotte sinks to the floor and starts to cry.
