The trio walks through the archway and ends up in a clearing inside a dense forest. Loki and Charlotte look up at the sky amazed at the amount of stars they see.
"This place is...amazing!" Charlotte exclaims in awe.
"So brother, Lady Charlotte, the plan is for me to go see mother and get her on our side. She might be the only person who can deceive Odin. I will escort you somewhere safe until I return with mother. So please follow me."
They walk through the forest for about 15 minutes when they reach a large tree, Thor stops and says.
"We are here."
"Where? Thor?"
He points up and they both see what looks like a tree house.
"Thor what is this?"
Thor walks up to the tree and bangs on it three times. All of a sudden a set of stairs comes down the side of the tree.
"This is Loki's and I's secret hideaway. Our parents do not know it exists. We have been coming here to get away from it all since we were children. Please go up."
They climb the stairs and end up on a small balcony overlooking the forest.
"I see why you picked this tree. The view is breathtaking."
Thor opens the small door to the tree house. He walks in, Loki and Charlotte follow. Once inside Charlotte is completely freaked. The room is unusually big in the centre there is a large fire pit. On either side of the room are alcoves. She noticed that one alcove is decorated in green and gold. While the other in red, blue and gold.
"Thor? What is going on? This place? It was half the size from outside?"
"Ha! You see Lady Charlotte, it was once just a small house, but my brother, when he came into his Seidhr, decided that we needed a bigger place so he conjured a spell on our little hideaway to make it larger."
"Well, this is beyond cool." She looks around excited.
"It certainly is." Loki smiles at her.
"Brother, Lady Charlotte, I shall go see mother, please remain here until I return."
"Sounds good Thor."
"I shall be back soon." Thor heads out the door and closes it behind him.
Charlotte starts to wander around the large room. She goes to the alcove decorate in green and gold. She notices that this alcove has a large bookshelf filled to the brim with books. She turns to Loki.
"Do you think this is your side?" He comes to join her.
"I would think so. My brother might be smart but I do not believe he is book smart." Loki chuckles.
"Hey!" She play slaps him."Be nice."
"I was joking of course, I do believe this would be my side. It feels very familiar almost comfortable."
"This collection of books is impressive. I only see a few titles that I can understand but you seem to have a large selection of books from earth. I see Shakespeare, Molière, you even have a copy of Grey's Anatomy."
She grabs the book and start leafing through the pages.
"Shit, Loki, this looks like a first edition." She puts it back and grabs one of the Shakespeare plays.
"And so is this one." Loki takes the book from her hands.
"Romeo and Juliet?"
"Yes, it's my favourite one. We have time. Would you like me to read you some?"
