Things were a little shaky at first, but they started getting their act together thanks to the brother and his sisters taking the lead. It was starting to get exhausting having these three siblings take part in their test, which they questioned at first. Seriously who endorses two ten year old little girls to become heroes along with their brother? But seeing how powerful and intelligent they were, it made sense to them why that branch head who endorsed them did so. Needless to say, the president knew who would be given the pay raise and award for scouting the best talent this year. And with only two months left in the school year this was the final test before the new school year began itself. They based the exams around high school calendars to make planning in the student exams easier for themselves.

Usually if there was no major issues that required them to delay it, the first exam was for the non-students who did not apply for it through hero schools was in the start of April. This was so the massive influx of paperwork required for setting up these exams could done at the same time as the first exam for hero course students. The first exam for the students occurred at the end of April so as to help the students. Second years were the ones to mostly fill up these exams along with the third years who failed to pass during their second years had a month with school assistance to do final preparations.

Then the next test for the non-students occurred in the beginning of August to repeat the cycle with the second student test occurring at the start of September. This gave both test participants four months since their last test so anyone who needed to retry on these had ample time to get themselves put together. The student exams naturally had more people passing it as it was only twice a year they could take the test. This means that the final test for non-students occurred in January giving them five months instead of the previous four months interval, with a three month interval before that. As a result it was dubbed the final chance test bu those taking it as most did not return for a second time after failing it.

Deciding that things were going a little too smoothly for them they singled for the 'Villains' to shake things up. Just as they figured the people who rushed in to save people were caught off guard. This showed them the true leaders among the people there, and by the looks of it Ingenium who they called in for this exam was going to have themselves a rough time. At least it was supposed to be ingenium but who was this last minute no name ingenium knock off replacement?

Mai was currently with a group of three, while she and one of the other two lifted the rubble the last person used his quirk to delicately pull the victim out telling them there was nothing left to worry about. "There is no need to worry, we will get you to help so please hold on a little longer ok?" She said to them treating them like the npc protection quests that Maple told them about. She told them how it went less awkward to speak to them if they talked like the stereotypical character they were supposed to be in that scenario. So Mai and Yui decided that if Chrome was supposed to be the scary fighter striking fear into the villains. Then as his sidekicks they had to do what he would have a hard time doing and make the rescued civilians feel happy. Even they had to admit that his armour looked a little intense at times.
