With both classes tied it came down to the last test, the distance run over a five kilometre track, however this was a much different run than the fifty meter dash. As unlike a set distance not only did you need to keep your feet in your lane but it also went till the last person was standing, or an hour had passed which ever came first. With forty students in total however, two people from each class had to share a lane to keep things fare. But with the students ready to go all out with their quirks it seemed more likely to turn out like a more restricted version of the obstacle race from previous sports festivals. Just as the two teachers were about to break it up however... stumbling through the split crowds were Maple and Pony butting heads while grabbing each other.

"Stop your fighting right... now?" Vlad King called out to the both of them but only to pause midway as the two girls began laughing. Even Aizawa just gave Vlad a look that asked 'Are their heads on straight?' With his capture scarf falling limply to the ground. Everyone in both classes, minus Himiko and Momo however were wondering if these two even understood anything that ever went on around them. Unfortunately for the two girls Aizawa did have to break it up quickly as they needed their stamina for the endurance race. Aizawa and Vlad decided that if anyone stops running/jogging for over ten seconds they are eliminated from the test. The winner to be decided by the last person running for whichever class they belonged too.

Right at the start Todoroki caught almost everyone off guard as he turned the ground at the starting line to ice freezing most in place. Bursting immediately into first place on all fours, mainly due to the fact both forgot this was an endurance test and decided to have fun with each other. This was Maple and Pony following immediately behind them was Tsuyu Asui hopping for her life to escape the cold. Behind Tsuyu was Jurota Shishida going full transformation to not get caught in the ice himself right away. Sliding right behind them was Todoroki and Mina as if they were skating which was to be expected by those two. Itsuka Kendo and Mashirao Ojiro both using the flash step martial arts technique as dubbed by amateurs who did not know the correct term, to evade the ice but they had fallen a moment behind due to have to use the technique to avoid the ice. Jiro used her quirk to set free herself and two of her classmates Ochaco Uraraka and Momo Yaoyorozu before ten seconds were up getting back in the race. Tokoyami used his jacket as a makeshift cloak to allow dark shadow to fly over the ground keeping both user and quirk safe from frozen harm. Shihai Kuroiro hid himself inside Todoroki shadow himself giving him the best chances to last the longest. Reina López simply used her quirk to swim through her lane with ease while Himiko Toga just sprinted with her insane levels of speed.

Yuga Aoyama used his Naval laser to propel himself forward off of the ground to assure he did not freeze like his fellow competitors. Tenya Ida burst forth in a sudden acceleration past Todoroki ice field, Setsuna Tokage and Reiko Yanagi both floated forward without a second thought. It had been less than ten seconds and yet it had already begun on an overwhelming show of power and skill as they all took off.

Vlad King seeing this turned to Aizawa who normally stated back at him stoically with dead eyes was putting an unusual effort in avoiding eye contact. "Aizawa... I know that is Endeavour son but please tell me you did not tell your kids to push themselves past their limits with him and Maple in the class." Vlad said to his rival teacher. Both of them knew how destructive Endeavour was when he fought, so he figured Aizawa would have warned him to be carful and as for Maple... well she was Maple there was nothing else to say.
