UA TRAINING GROUND

(THIRD PERSON POV)

Jiro had stopped to catch her breath as her currently accelerated heart rate from constant use of her quirk like this was causing her to go through the air in her lungs much quicker than normal. That was when Ochaco put a hand on her shoulder activating her quirk, confusing the girl. "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!?" Jiro questioned her partner in a panic as she was shoved out of the small window she had managed to make thus far.

Ochaco however much to her partner chagrin was remaining silent before looking at her directly in her eyes. "I am grateful you want to fight with me, but that hole is not big enough for both of us to escape through. Also if the building comes down, it will be easier for me to escape with just focusing on myself. NOW GO!" She screamed the last part at her shoving her down. Jiro as much as she hated this, understood full well that she would be a hindrance in escaping the falling apart building. So using her jacks she quickly climbed down, till she was low enough to land and roll away safely, shouting at her partner to release her quirks hold. As she got away, circling to the front of the building to get a better idea of much longer she had left till it fell, she saw Mineta limping away. Deciding to ignore him she looked through the entrance and saw... a bubbling hell with the floor being nearly six feet lower now than it was before.

Back at the top Mina had just broken through and was disappointed to see only one of her two opponents and still no bomb. "Where did Jiro escape to!" Mina asked her opponent who only answered with silence getting into a battle ready stance. With a huff Mina decided to beat her quickly and go looking for the bomb on the third floor instead. Sending a slash of easy to dodge acid at her opponent it was dodged as expected, with it hitting where the hole was behind Ochaco making it bigger. Unfortunately for her Mina realized her plan and moved around getting in front of the hole driving Ochaco to the entrance. "If you want to escape out there and back up to the bomb then you have to get through me." She said to the brunette standing before her.

Deciding she needed to go on the offensive before time ran out Mina sent two waves of acid on either side of her opponent to box her in. Then send a large yet obviously less concentrated glob of acid her way as she was aiming at a person this time instead of an object. However to her surprise Ochaco had used her quirk to make herself weightless and jump to the wall on her left. Then rushed her opponent in a kicking motion, however to Mina surprise Ochaco was not weightless upon impact. What was expected to be an easy catch was a powerful kick to her core as Ochaco released gravity on herself before impact.

Throwing her to the corner on her left Mina had revealed the bomb, touching it before Ochaco could touch her. However instead of hearing that she was declared the victor she heard... a cracking noise? Before she knew it the building was coming down upon their heads. "Did I cause this?" Mina asked nervously before getting slapped by Ochaco who threw them both weightless out of the building.

BACK IN THE MONITORING ROOM

Mina who was for some reason expecting to be showered with praise for winning the match, instead herself in her current position. Both her and Mineta were sitting on their knees being yelled at by Mirko while listening to the horrified crying of Cementoss-sensei in the background on her phone. She had sent him a short video and pictures from their fight letting him know of the damage that the students caused.
