I CAN SEE WHY FANS OF BOFURI WOULD RATHER DENY IT BY CALLING IT UNREALISTIC. BUT YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT YOU WOULD IN REAL LIFE CHOOSE TO LET SOMEONE KILL YOU RATHER THAN FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN SURVIVAL. AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE TOO STUPID TO SEE IT, YES SHE IS STILL REMORSEFUL. IT IS JUST THAT THE REMORSE SHE FELT LEAD HER TOO DARKER EMOTIONS AND AS A RESULT A MORE UNSTABLE MINDSET. THOUGH THEY SHALL NOT BE NAMED, I LOVED HOW YOU CANNOT FIND YOURSELF TO DISAGREE WITH MY SECOND WHERE I POINTED OUT HER ALREADY SLIGHTLY UNHEALTHY MINDSET.

(THIRD PERSON POV)

It had been about three months now since Maple had come into Mirko life and Izuku has finally begun to get use to living with them all. It was an afternoon of physical/quirk training when Mirko called for a break for them all.

"This is so exhausting!" Maple said falling slowly on her back after falling on her but. Everyone could see how she was shaking, but knew this was inevitable for her necessary quirk training. How her stamina drained faster in this air conditioned training room when using her partial transformation was unavoidable due to the nature of her quirk. The reason Mirko had it on was that when this building was first built around a hundred and fifty years ago it all had one connected air conditioning. Though the building itself has been remodelled several times over the years it has since been first built the air conditioning was never touched. Since there were office workers on all the floors below them, she could not tamper with it. But with hers, Maple, and Himiko usually higher than normal body temperature this was no problem for them. Izuku noticing this could become a problem in the future for Maple hero career asked Mirko if he could use her grandfathers old workshop.

Mirko agreed to let him use it so long as he was careful and showed her he knew how to use all the tools in there. Once he did she gave him a spending limit on materials he could buy, and if needed to go over he would need to explain to her why. Fortunately he was able to procure the materials he needed at a local support gear supplier having it delivered there the next day. With a bit of help from Maple, Himiko, and Mirko he was able to get it all to the workshop after Mirko signed for it.

After drawing some concept art for the designs aesthetics based off of Maple description of what she wanted he began working on it. Which no one knew was that she was describing her black armour from the game, as a result. The outside layer was an aluminum alloy composite that as a result was both strong but was also very flexible. After having her wear it for a few hours before training the true function of it was revealed to everyone.
"I... I'M NOT COLD ANYMORE!" Maple said feeling the warmth spread through out her armour parts after she had transformed. Looking to him for an explanation, Izuku gladly explained to them how this was possible. First off rather then being a simple two layered armoured, it was actually three layers of armour. The top layer of her direct body armour was meant to disperse kinetic energy from any impacts she received. Third layer which was pressed against her skin absorbed her body heat throughout the the day slowly releasing it once she switched to cold blood. However the middle layer, was meant to contain the heat so next to none of it went to waste, it also is what allows it to build up body heat properly.

Each arm, leg, and torso piece had three smaller sub layers of each different layer lined up over each other when not in use. When it activates via her body switching from warm to cold blood, it triggers the change causing the three sub layers to then slide apart and connect forming the whole layer. As a result when she transforms it becomes fitted to her new slightly larger appendages as well as over all size when she goes from four foot nine to a whole six feet. Her shield would instead of two layers for heat, would just be three layers of the first kinetic energy dispersing layer. "But why not just go with a shock absorption layer?" Himiko asked as everyone else was wondering the same thing.
