A few hours on the road passed. I got tons of calls and texts from my parents and my siblings. Even though it hurt to see my younger siblings' pleas to come home popping up on the screen one after one, I ignored them as best as I could. It was still pouring rain. I was halfway through Tennessee, I lived in the very far Northwest corner of Tennessee, so being that I was planning to escape to my best friend over in Southeast South Carolina, I knew it was going to take a while. It was now 7:23 pm, still raining, the sky darkening. I was on a long highway with almost no cars. It was peaceful, serene. I liked the quiet whirring of my new car and the rain pattering on the windows. It was hard to see ahead because of how hard it was raining. I started to see a figure in the rain. I blinked and squinted my eyes, thinking it was just a figment of my imagination. It wasn't. I. came up to the figure, 50 miles an hour, but I stopped just in time. There was a person, standing in front of my car, inches away from the hood. As the windshield wipers cleared the foggy rain off my window it revealed that it was a man, no, a boy. I just sat there in shock staring at the boy, he was just standing there in front of my car, soaking wet, not even affected by the fact that I almost hit him. He walked over to my window and knocked on it. I rolled my window down to confront the young man standing before me...

Wait for Thursday to see what happens next!
