I woke up to Jake tapping me. I blinked three times and realized I had fallen asleep on the way to Abby's house. Abby was standing outside of the car looking annoyed as Jake helped me out of the car. I looked at my phone, it was 11:23 PM and we were in Abby's driveway.
"The tow truck isn't here yet but it's on it's way" Jake whispered to me, still holding me up by my arms. "I can stand up" I said as I rubbed my eyes and steadied myself. "Here," he said. He handed me the cup of coffee from earlier.
"I think you need it more than me." "Did I really fall asleep on you?" I said while sipping my coffee. "Yeah, it's all right though. I didn't mind."
Ugh, how embarrassing. I probably snored or drooled or something else mortifying.
I was awake now that I had coffee. I grabbed a couple of my boxes and followed Abby into the house. She had an apartment on the first floor. It was a nice, modern, 2-bedroom apartment. She had lots of plants and decorations. It was cozy, nice.

"Where should I put my stuff?" "Well, there's a guest bedroom down that hallway to the left" "The one on the right is my bedroom. The first door to the left is the bathroom." "Ok, thank you." I replied.
I set down the boxes on the floor of the guest bedroom and got out my toiletries and pj's. I turned around and saw Jake standing in the doorway.
"Oh, hi. God you have to stop sneaking up on me like that" I laughed nervously.
"Sorry...." he walked into my room more and leaned on the wall. "Abby scares me" he said. I laughed. "Yeah sorry about her, she can have that effect on people." He looked at me for a second and then looked down the hallway
"Well, I think she wants to talk to you alone so I'll be grabbing more boxes from her car."
"Ok." I smiled. I watched as he walked down the hallway. I sighed. Well, time to get a lecture. Abby walked in the room and shut the door.
"Ok what do you want to scream at me for?" I asked. I sat down on the bed and waited for the yelling. She calmly sighed and looked at me.
"How long have you known this boy." she asked, staring into my soul.
"Well it's been a little over 3 days now."
"And you were holding hands with him." I looked at her for a moment.
"Yes..."
"And you were sleeping on his shoulder."
"Yes..."
How the hell did she notice so much?
"You kissed him didn't you."
"What! No!?" I raised my voice a little.
"I saw that look y'all exchanged!" she raised her voice a little. She stared at me with her piercing hazel eyes for a few moments before I finally cracked.
"OK FINE I KISSED HIM." I yelled.
"AHAH" "I KNEW IT!!" she yelled whilw pointing at me. "Why did you kiss him when you barely know him?" she gasped, "Oh my god are you a whore?" she smiled.
"NO!!" "Then why'd you kiss him." she grinned. "B-because there was a lot of tension and he asked me if I liked him and I did and apparently he likes me- and I-I know it's going too fast, I don't know why it's going so fast but it just is and I like him and whether you're trying to protect me or not you have to deal with that!" she stood there in shock.
I caught my breath and waited for her to respond.
"You really like, like him?" she finally answered.
I paused for a moment, "Yes" I said in a serious tone.
"Ok." "But if he hurts you I swear to god-"
"I know, but he hasn't done anything. He's been very sweet and respectful and kind. So, can you just please be nice to him now?" I asked.
"Ok fine. I'll try to be nice."
"Thank you." I said.
"Now are we just going to sit here or are we going to squeal and jump at the fact that I'm living with you now." I grinned.
"Yes!!" she smiled back

And that's exactly what we did.

After we talked and jumped and squealed and all those things, lights shone from the window. It was a small car pulling into the driveway.
"Who's that?" I asked warily.
"No one.." She said nervously. "Uhhh" she got up and quickly went out of the bedroom and into the living room. "Abigail who is that?" I asked. "No one. Just let me do something real quick." She walked out the front door and shut it quickly. What the hell was she doing? I looked out the window and saw her talking to the person who pulled up to the driveway, they got out of the car but it was too dark to see who it was. All I could tell was that it was a small, petite figure. Abby opened the door and signaled the person to wait.

"Jessica, this is my girlfriend Masha" Masha stepped into view and waved at me.
"Hi." she said.
