I climbed onto the back of my horse while Duffy leapt into her brown horse was helping Shadow up on the back of it. "Don't try to go too fast, if you go too fast we'll pass it but if we go too slow, it'll take us forever." Shadow said and put her sword on her belt.
"Make a statement that makes sense for me" Duffy said and flicked Shadow in the head.
"Basically, just go at a medium pace" Shadow said flicking Duffy back in the head. "Whatever, where are we going anyways that is ' so far away ' and why isn't Fizz, Tyler and Sly coming with us?" I asked as Akira leapt onto her horse.
"Are we going or not?" Akira asked as she whipped the reins to start out at a slow pace. Duffy did the same but went faster so she was in front and I just stayed in the back, sword in my right hand in case of danger.
I looked around carefully squinting my eyes looking around for dwarves and humans.
"Take a right" I heard Shadow say. "We already live in the forgotten woods, where are we even going!?" Duffy said "Tell me or I'm stopping this horse." She added.
"Mystic Forest" Shadow sighed.
"WHAT! Nononono! I'm not going there in gonna die!!" Duffy said.
"No your not" Shadow said continuing down the path.
We arrived down a path at a moss-covered sign. Shadow leapt off the back of the horse and walked over to the sign and dug her fingers into the moss scratching it away and pulling it off.
"Damn" Akira said and leapt off her horse. I leapt off mine and guided it by the reins.
"Get off and tie your horses to the log, if we take them in they might die, it's a possible chance." Shadow said. Akira went over to the log with me and Duffy and we tried rhw horses up, but made it so they could run away in any danger.
I looked up through the trees behind us which were green compared to the dark, purple, magenta, and deep red trees that lay beyond the forest sign.
"If we take a right when we first enter we have a chance of getting there faster" Shadow said and walked into the woods her sword tightly held in her hand. I slung my how over my shoulder and pulled out my rune shovel that shine brightly in the moonlight. Duffy had her daggers in each hand while Akira had an arrow loaded in her fire bow, which she had just gotten from a loot not far back beyond the path.
The how's arch was lit with fire but it didn't hurt her, the string was a thin sheet of string tied from one end of the arch to the other.
We walked into the forest and Shadow pulled our a flashlight, which lit up the place a lot. I looked around the empty forest, I boulder hear the roars of zombies in the distance along with a barely heard clink of skeleton bones and soft paws of wolves and their distant howls.
(Yes I have the ability to hear far away and cast spells, Akira had the ability to aim at her target perfectly, Duffy can call animals if she's in need of danger and Shadow can cast spells, Tyler can summon his pet lion which I call The Pussy, Sly can control weather and Fizz can swim underwater for as long as he wants)
I followed in the back of the ground with Akira as we took up the rear. I had a tight grip on my shovel and she has an even tighter grip on her bow.
Then. There was a low, growl.
