Lightning Strike

Splitting sky

fast furious.

Gone in a second

excitement

devastation.

Like a stove

burning a hand.

A bronze kettle

falling to the ground.

The flip of a switch

while one is almost asleep

bright burning light

stabbing my irises.

Calling to chase

Rumble from the

ground, shaking earth.

Gone in a second

just like death.

Vaper in wind

the Lightning disappears.
