Loss

Is what holds everyone together

Makes sure that it is known

Keeps you up at night

Makes you remember on days that are good

Holds you in its clutches

Never lets you leave.

I thought I had come to terms with it

But just today it grappled with me

I feel it once again

I'm in a deep pit

I am stuck in debris

No light, I feel insane.

Why did you leave?

Like everyone else leaves?

You called me your sister

But I had to hear from my sister

My mind reels

My voice broken

How can I feel

when it is taken

I miss you

So much

I can't wait to see you

Why couldn't you wait to touch

The roads of gold

My sweet

Dominick.
