Chapter 7

I'm currently laying in bed with Hayden it's been almost a month since that night with Maddie. Hayden is sleeping peacefully, naked beside me as I think of Maddie not being able to sleep. Her parents now come over often and me and her brothers work out every Thursday. I cannot get her out of my head Hayden is proof that I've tried so hard to do so. We have sex pretty much every time we see each other, but it's never good enough anymore. Every time she falls asleep I think about Maddie and I know it's not right to think about another woman when you're with someone else.

I'm probably just gonna break up with Hayden and figure my shit out because I can't go on doing this to her. For now I'm gonna let her sleep I have to go home anyway it's way past curfew. I climbed out of her bed and put my clothes on I made sure to grab all of my stuff. I made my way out of her front door making sure to lock it on my way out. Once I made it to the driveway a deep voice startled me "I hope you're not cutting and running on my daughter" her father said taking a drag off his cigarette. "No sir, it's late and I have to go home" I said as I stopped in my tracks and turned to face him.

"Good because she's a good girl and she doesn't deserve to be left out in the cold by the likes of you" he said with a threatening tone. "I respect your daughter sir, I may not come from money, but I know how to treat a lady" I said defensively. "Don't get smart with me boy, I have 20 years on you" he said stomping out the light on his cigarette. "Don't make assumptions about me" I bit back before turning on my heel to leave. "If you were smart you would watch how you talk to me" he said before turning around to head back into the house.

I just scoffed and continued on my walk home I hope he doesn't try anything funny when I break up with his daughter. I don't love her and she doesn't deserve to be with a man that doesn't love her. I continued down the street until I finally made it to my house. I quietly walked inside and made my way upstairs before I made it to my room. Once inside I got undressed again and laid down in my bed, my phone buzzed on my night stand. I looked at the message it was from Hayden.

Hayden~ Sorry about my dad he can be a huge prick sometimes, love you 😘

I just huffed out a sigh and pinched the bridge of my nose before I responded.

Adonis~ It's fine he just worries about you

I put my phone back down and tried to get some rest, but images of Maddie being that close to me haunt my mind. What has this girl done to me I cannot think straight anymore. How am I gonna break up with Hayden I can't wrap my mind around a nice way to say I don't love you. After what felt like years of plotting and scheming I think I've finally found my way to let her down easy. Once I had that squared away thoughts of kissing Maddie appeared. Great another thing I can't get out of my head I rolled over to check my phone and saw a text from a random number.

Unknown~ Hey, it's Maddie my brothers told me to tell you that I'm going to be training with you tomorrow

I smiled thinking of spending time with her tomorrow, but that means I will have to help her work out. All sweaty with those legs and small waist, no stop thinking about Maddie! God this is hard, what has she done to me I cannot have one decent thought.

Adonis~ That's cool what are we doing for your training?

Maddie~ Just lifting weights and working on my stamina

What I wouldn't give to test out her stamina in this bed, damn dirty mind.

Adonis~ I can definitely help with lifting weights

Maddie~ Great thanks!

God damn this girl is gonna kill me if she is gonna do squats. I set my phone back down thinking of how to answer her.
