The Boxers Queen

Chapter 2

I woke up to a knock on my door which is weird because no one knocks on my door especially early in the morning. I jumped out of bed quickly and hauled ass down stairs passing my mom telling her to stay in the kitchen. I ran to the front door and swung it open to find my girlfriend Hayden staring back at me. I eased up when I saw her smiling up at me her smile slowly put me at ease. "Hey Doni, sorry to knock, but I wanted to know if you wanted to ride with me today" she asked with a little blush on her cheeks.

I smiled down at her face "Of course I'll ride with you" I said grabbing her warm cheeks in my hands and slowly kissing her softly. "But next time please just send me a text or call me" I whispered in her ear as I kissed her cheek. She smiled at me and nodded. I grabbed her small hand in mine dragging her down the hallway behind me. "Mom this is my girlfriend Hayden" I said pulling her tiny body close to me.

Hayden smiled and reached her hand out "Hi, it's nice to meet you I'm Dani, Adonis' mom" my mom said grabbing her hand and lightly kissing the back of it. "I'm so sorry sweetie but, Adonis Michael Rayes if you don't put some damn clothes on ima beat your ass you know better then to dress like that in front of a pretty lady I raised you better than this!" She screamed in my face and then I looked down I was only in sweat pants. I blushed really hard and Hayden kind of stepped away from me as I walked up stairs to my bedroom.

After I got dressed we both said goodbye to my mom, on the way to school me and Hayden were joking around about how my mom yelled at me and what they talked about while I got ready. According to her my mom is sweet, little does she know my mom can throw hands like an inmate. My mom has a spicy little spark to her, but deep down she's sweet all the way to her core, I love my mom and I love that Hayden loves her too.

By the time I realized it we were already at school, Hayden gently grabbed my arm "Are you ready for school?" She asked with a cute little giggle, I guess I zoned out thinking about my mom. "Yeah, lets go!" I exclaimed as I grabbed my bag off of her floor board and opened my door. I heard the faint voices of two other girls and as soon as I stepped out they all stopped their chatter and just stared at me. When I looked over the roof of the car I noticed Hayden's two best friends Molly and Hannah. They both stopped and smiled at me, "Good Morning, Adonis" they said in unison.

I just waved and shut my door, "Good Morning pretty ladies" I said tipping my head towards them making all of them giggle. I walked around to Hayden's side of the car reaching my hand out for her to grab. She interlocked our fingers and we both started walking, I lead her through all the people as we walked her friends following closely behind. We finally made it through the hallway and towards the cafeteria.

Once we finally made it, the girls left to go join the other girls, but Hayden continued with me waving goodbye to her friends they winked at her and waved back. I smirked as I walked with one of the prettiest girls to my table with all of my buddies watching. I felt like the man with her on my arm, once we finally made it to the table Cole and Adam's seats were empty. I grabbed Hayden's back pack straps and slowly slid her back pack off guiding her down into Adam's seat which was right next to mine.

I looked over at Jacob, "Hey Jake, where the hell is Cole and Adam?" I asked, he looked up from his phone and pointed towards the cafeteria windows opening up to the patio. I saw a big group of people and then I finally found Cole and Adam, but what I saw next took my breath away. Standing right next to my best friend under some random guys arm was a girl, all I could see was the back of her head, but her long blonde hair stood out to me. I kept focusing on her hair waiting for her to turn her head when I got snapped out of my trance by Hayden's hand touching my arm.

"It's time to go to class" she said smiling with her amazingly bright white teeth, I just smiled and stood up I helped her with her back pack and put it back on her shoulders. She smiled warmly up to me her red cheeks warming my heart, I threw my back pack over my shoulder and flung my long arm over her small shoulders. She just nuzzled into me and we began our journey to first period.

When lunch finally rolled around I sat down with the guys Cole and Adam were already sat down. Cole had his arm around Miranda talking about their plans for the weekend, Adam has a girl with him as well. I was happy for my boys I started looking around for my girl, I finally saw her brunette hair and her beautiful blue eyes. A smile came to my lips as I watched her walk up to the table, her eyes settled on me and she sped up a little bit. As soon as she reached the table she set her stuff down beside the chair beside me and I pulled the chair out for her to sit down. As soon as she sat comfortably in the chair I grabbed the bottom and pulled her closer to me slinging my arm around her shoulder.

"How was class, beautiful" I asked as she finally started to eat, she smiled up at me and slowly finished chewing her food. "It was boring, I missed you the whole time" she said her cheeks turning pink. "I missed you too" I said grabbing her head and bringing her cheek to my lips. Once I planted a sweet kiss on her cheek she looked up at me her eyes glistening and her pink cheeks now a bright rosie red. I just smiled down at her and planted a gentle kiss on her lips.

Lunch went by pretty fast as everyone talked and conversated about after school activities. Hayden just snuggled closer into my side our bodies connecting and warming me to my core. I just smiled and kissed her forehead as Jacob told the story of how his mom butchered their dinner last night.

Whenever the bell rang I stood up and grabbed Hayden's back pack for her as she slowly gathered her lunch trash and threw it away. I opened the straps for her to slide her arms into them and slowly placed the back pack on her shoulders and slung mine on my back as well. She grabbed my hand lacing our fingers together guiding me through the cafeteria.

I just smiled at every guy who saw us pass by them, once we got through the doors I slid my hand out of her grasp and wrapped my arm around her waist. We walked slowly to our next class talking and laughing about conversations at lunch. When we finally reached her class I let go of her small waist as she turned to face me, "I'll see you after class, okay?" She said looking up at me, I just smiled and nodded leaning down to kiss her. She stood up on her toes and met my lips with hers, the bell rang and she hurriedly pulled away, but before she could run off I grabbed her hand and spun her around. I gave her one last kiss before I took off down the hallway to get to my class before the teacher shut and locked the door.

When I got to my classroom door it was already shut and locked, I jiggled the handle and then knocked on the door. The teacher opened the door and looked up at me, "Mr. Rayes, late I see?" He questioned fixing his glasses. "Yes sir, sorry it won't happen again" I said trying to push past him. "No, you need to go to the tardy station and get a pass, you know the rules Mr. Rayes" he said putting his hand on my chest.

I just scoffed and fixed my back pack on my shoulder, I turned on my heel and slowly walked down the hall. I wandered  around looking for the closest tardy station, after about 5 minutes I was done searching and just walked outside to the benches by the track. I sat down and pulled out my phone I noticed a text from Hayden, I smiled as I clicked on the text message app. 'Hey hot stuff, thanks for making me tardy' my smile grew wider as I typed out my reply. As I waited for her response I checked another message from my dad, 'Sorry for taking my anger out on you last night son, I've just been so stressed out from work and I know your mother forgot to tell you when to be home. I hope I didn't cause too much of a scene'. I just shook my head and typed out my reply as soon as I pressed send the bell rang.

"Shit!" I exclaimed jumping up off of the bench and running to the double doors to enter the school. I lightly jogged down the hallway to reach Hayden's classroom, when I finally reached her side of the building I saw her standing by the hallway leaned up against the pillar. Her beautiful long brown hair was tied up in a bun and her face was down in her phone.

Once I finally reached her she put her phone down and pulled me in for a kiss. After she had pulled away she looked up at me, "You ready to get to last period". She said with a closed mouth smile I nodded grabbing her chin, I snaked my arms around her waist. We walked down the hallway talking about how I got locked out of my class.

When we finally reached my class she quickly pecked my cheek and ran off before I could stop her. I just smiled and shook my head, as soon as I turned I bumped into someone.
