Your boyfriend turned to you, very obviously confused. "Wait, you actually have a cousin here?"

You smile at him, nodding in confirmation. "Yes. He's also a second year in high school, but he and his family- which is my mom's side of the family - live here in Tokyo. I visited often until after spring of my first year in middle school."

Your cousin nodded. "Akaashi Keiji, nice to meet you."

"Ya know what, I see it. The resemblance is uncanny." Hana kept flickering her attention between you two.

Terushima, however, wasn't gonna be quiet nor fully respectful. "Really? I don't see it. Y/n's wayyyyyy sexi-"

Hana hit the boy yet again. "Shut the fuck up, you idiot!"

You chuckled nervously. "As lovely as ever, these two are."

Akaashi nodded. "Looks like it, Y/n-sama. How have you been?"

"Much better since the last time I was here in Tokyo."

The blue-eyed boy kept a smile on his face. "That's good to hear. I was worried when I found out what happened the last time you visited. It's good to know you're doing all right, Y/n-sama."

Bokuto appeared beside his setter. "Why do you call her Y/n-sama, Akaashi?"

Terushima held in a laugh. "Have none of you heard of the L/n family?"

There were a lot of murmurs, claiming to not know anything about your family.

Terushima grinned, wrapping an arm around your waist. "They're a big tech company here in Japan. And my beautiful girlfriend here is the only child to the family. She's practically royalty in Japan."

You shrink in your spot. "I'm not that big a deal."

"But you are, baby."

Bokuto was just staring in shock. "You're actually dating Terushima, Y/n-sama?!"

Your boyfriend shot a glare at the ace. "That's what you got from this?"

Akaashi sighed, moving closer to you. "It is surprising that Y/n-sama would be dating someone like you."

You shrug, uncomfortable with the situation. "Yes, my dear cousin, I'm dating Yuji here."

Your cousin narrows his eyes. "And your parents approve of this.... Of him?"

You flinched under his hard stare. "Not exactly, but they said they wouldn't get involved unless there was a better offer for marriage. Like business partners, or something of the sort."

Akaashi sighed. "I see, that much was to be expected, though. I'm still surprised you'd date him."

Terushima took offense to that. "And why is that?"

Your cousin deadpanned. "Your reputation should be an obvious reason, even to you."

Your boyfriend glared. "You got a problem with me?"

You sigh, getting in between the two boys. "Calm down. This is supposed to be a fun hangout, right? Let's not start fighting, ok?"

Both boys look away from each other, neither looking all too happy.

The other guys kept staring at you, still surprised that you're dating Terushima and that you're Akaashi's cousin. It also amazed them that you were the only child to a major business family. A lot of them found you very attractive.

And Kenma couldn't take his eyes off of you. He wanted to walk over and talk to you, but that just wasn't in his nature. Not only would his team find that unusual, but he'd also have to deal with Terushima since he's your boyfriend. And that was something he didn't want to have to deal with.

You, however, were trying to keep things calm while being unaware of all the attention you were receiving. You tried to focus on your boyfriend, but half the time Terushima was running off and became hard for you to spot. Even Hana gave up on trying to keep an eye on the Johzenji troublemaker.

Bokuto and Kuroo walked up to you, curiosity in their eyes.

You try giving a smile, but you were still very nervous. "Um.. hello?"

Kuroo grinned. "I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, nice to meet you. I'm the captain of Nekoma. It's good that you came. I think the female managers will appreciate having another girl around."

You nod. "When Yuji asked me to come, I couldn't say no. L/n Y/n, nice to meet you as well."

Bokuto's eyes shown with interest. "Are you really Akaashi's cousin?"

"Yes. We're related through our mothers. We used to see each other quite often when I visited Tokyo with my family, but now it's rare for us to even talk to each other."

"Akaashi's my setter! He's the best! So you must be great too, right?!"

You chuckle nervously. "I don't know about that. But I'm glad my cousin has some interesting people around him. I can tell you're good friends of his."

Bokuto nods, beaming. "Akaashi's my best friend! And Kuroo here is my bro, so we're also pretty close. Nekoma and Fukurodani are good friends, we have practice matches all the time. Oh! Maybe you could watch our teams play against each other sometime!"

"Maybe."

The ace continued with his excitement. "It would be nice to have Akaashi's cousin show up and give some support. You must want to see him play sometimes, too, right?"

"I would like to see him play. I haven't seen him in a match in a few years. I wonder how much he's improved with it."

"He's a great setter. You'll be proud to be related to him!"

You smile at the third year. "I'm already proud to be Keiji's cousin. He's a very kind and patient person, very understanding as well. And I'm glad you like having him around. At least I don't have to worry about how he's doing when I'm not around."

Bokuto nodded, still smiling at you. "And you're really pretty! I can totally see how you and Akaashi are related!"

You raise a brow at him. "Are you saying you find my cousin pretty?"

The loud ace became flustered, unsure of how to answer. "I didn't mean it like that!"

Terushima came over to you, noticing the two boys talking to you. "Everything alright here, baby?"

You look at him, a small smile on your face. "Yes, some of Keiji's friends just wanted to talk with me for a bit."

He grabs your hand, beginning to pull you away. "I know they're your cousin's friends, but don't get too close to them. Everyone needs to know that you're my girl. Now, stay close to me. I want my beautiful girlfriend by my side."

You giggle at him. "Of course. I'm here to stay by your side, Yuji."

Kenma silently watched as Terushima wrapped an arm around your waist, beginning to pull you everywhere with him. A sad look appeared in the pudding head's eyes.

"I wish that were me."
