Bokuto appeared at your house on Saturday morning. "Akaashi! Y/n!"

You greet the boy. "Welcome, Bokuto-san. How are you?"

The ace beamed at you. "I'm great! But I came to see if you two are free today."

Akaashi walked into the room. "We are. Is something going on?"

"Our team was gonna hang out with Nekoma today. Did you two wanna come along."

You smile. "I'm fine with that. How about you, Keiji?"

Your cousin nods. "We can spend some time with Nekoma today."

Bokuto pumps his fists into the air. "Alright! Kuroo has been looking forward to this all week! And he even dragged Kenma out for this."

You raise a brow. "Kenma doesn't want to come along?"

Bokuto shakes his head. "He usually wants to stay at home and plays video games. But Kuroo and I were being extra persuasive to get him out today. We even promised to get you and Akaashi to come along."

"How does me coming along help with getting him to come along?"

Akaashi shot Bokuto a look, silently telling him to shut up. "Kenma has been worried about you since he heard about the Terushima incident and he still wants to try thanking you in different ways since you helped him at the hangout when he got hit."

You blink. "Oh. It was no big deal, but it's nice that he appreciates I did. Maybe I should try talking to him and become friends with him. What do you think, Keiji?"

You cousin smiles. "I think that would be great. Kenma's not good with people, so he might like you attempting to be friends with him."

Bokuto bounced with excitement. "Let's go, then! They're all waiting for us."

You three leave the house, Akaashi making sure the house gets locked up before you all walk away. Bokuto leads you to the park that the others were waiting at.

And it happened to be xxx park. The very same park Kenma had first seen you.

You recognized the park, glancing at your cousin from the corner of you eye. "It's been a few years since I've been here."

Akaashi remembered the story. "Oh, right. Are you ok with being here?"

"I'll be fine. I won't be on my own this time. I have all of you with me. I doubt anything will happen."

When you three reach the others, Yukie comes running up to you.

She hugs you tightly. "Y/n! I missed you! I'm so glad you're here!"

Kenma looked over at you, small smile appearing on his face while his cheeks turned pink. At first, he hated being bribed and dragged out of his house. But since you're here, it was worth it to leave his house. If anything, he was thrilled to be around you now.

You were still being squeezed by your fellow manager. "Haha, yeah. When Bokuto asked, I couldn't say no to hanging out with everyone. I thought this would be fun."

"It will be fun now that you're here!" She nuzzled her face against yours.

Kaori sighed, walking over and beginning to pry the other girl off of you. "Come on, Yukie. Give Y/n some breathing room. You might crush her before we all of the chance to hang out."

Reluctantly, Yukie let go, a frown on her face. "But I love her! I wanna hug her all the time!"

You chuckle. "It's fine, just don't squeeze too tight. I still need to breathe and move."

Yukie almost jumped on you, the other third year manager holding her back. "Kaori!" She whined. "Don't stop me from hugging her."

"You're not following the plan! We just finished talking about this!" Kaori scolded.

You look at her, confused. "What plan?"

Kaori's eyes widened. "I've said too much."

Akaashi facepalmed. "Any plan you guys have won't work if you talk about it in front of them."

Bokuto frowned. "It was supposed to be a secret!"

Kuroo chuckled. "Oh, well. She doesn't know what it is. It'll still work."

Kenma looked at the others. "Wait, what plan?"

You stare at the setter. "Kenma doesn't know either?"

Kuroo winked at you. "You two don't need to know."

Kenma frowns. "I think I know where this is going."

"Where?" You just look at everyone with a questioning look on your face.

Kenma sighs. "I think you and I are in for a long day, knowing these idiots."

Yukie gasped. "Oh, right! Y/n! Why don't you and Kenma walk together?"

Akaashi spoke sarcastically. "Subtle."

Kenma glared. "I knew it."

You walk over to the Nekoma setter. "I've been meaning to talk to you, Kenma. Why don't we walk together while the others work on their plan."

Kenma saw this opportunity. And he took it. "Sure. I wanted to talk with you ever since we met at the hang out. I still don't think I've thanked you enough for helping me out when Terushima hit me."

"It was nothing. I'd do that for anyone."

You two begin walking away from the others while they continued watching, smirks on their faces.

Yaku was the first to speak up. "Do you guys think this'll work?"

Kuroo grins. "If we give em a push, it'll turn out the way we expect it will."

Akaashi sighs. "Kenma is going to be the deciding factor, though. It's whether or not he's willing to try making a move that'll prove if this plan will work or not. If he's determined to hold back, there's no way they'll become a couple any time soon. Not to mention, Y/n still might be in the process of recovering from Terushima. Who knows when there'll be any results to pushing them together like this."

Bokuto frowned. "But Kenma and Y/n are already following the plan. They're walking together in the park where Kenma first saw her."

The Fukurodani setter pinched the bridge of his nose. "That doesn't guarantee that something will happen between them."

Kuroo shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not. We never know until something happens. Let's just follow them and check on the progress."

"Fine."

And so, the group started tailing you and Kenma.
