3rd Person POV:
After catching up with Jaune, Nora, and Ren for a little while since the Vale restoration meeting, Ruby can be seen making it back home as the silver-eyed warrior proceeds to enter her bedroom before collapsing onto her bed.
Ruby: (thoughts) Is this actually happening? Vale could really become a peaceful place again.
Ruby: (thoughts) Everyone lost something after the Fall, with this plan it could all at least get somewhat back to normal.
Her optimistic thoughts are halted in the process as the conversation with Neo plays out in her mind.
Neo: [Do you really think you could save everyone?]
Ruby: (speaking aloud) Of course not. Still, I can't just stand around while others are out there suffering.
Neo: [Even if they choose to thrive through performing immoral acts that make them the 'bad guy'?]
Ruby: (turning to her side) Yes...No...I...I don't know.
Left uncertain from her past actions, the silver-eyed warrior decides to get up from her bed and head over to the kitchen.
She looks around to see Zwei sleeping on his doggy bed, and wanting to provide the family pet a little comfort proceeds to pat his head.
Feeling a slow hunger rising to the surface, Ruby makes it over to the fridge and looks inside it to see the leftover dinner meal her dad had made for her.
The silver-eyed warrior takes out the meal and proceeds to microwave it before going over to the kitchen table.
Just when she's about to take a bite, the sound of someone coming down the stairs catches her attention.
Taiyang: (leaning on the wall) Didn't think you'd be back this late.
Ruby: Oh, sorry dad. I was catching up with some friends and lost track of time.
Taiyang: I can tell. Welp, since I'm awake now I might as well sit here with you.
Her father proceeds to do just that as an awkward silence fills the room.
Taiyang: It seems you have a lot going on right now.
Ruby: I-It's nothing.
Taiyang: I can most definitely see that's not the case. (sighs) You really do have the same signs as your mom.
Ruby: I do?
Taiyang: (pointing to his eyes) When upset about something, both of your eyes usually filled with a comforting light start to darken a little bit.
Ruby: (downcast) I see.
Taiyang: So, what's bothering you?
Ruby: (sighs) Alot of things.
Taiyang: Like the Vale restoration plan?
Ruby: You knew?
Taiyang: I was apart of the coolest team in Beacon Academy, fame like that has perks.
