I looked at lou’s text and laughed before taking a few deep breaths to try and steady my breathing and calm down my now racing heart. Then there was a few knocks at the door and my head flicked up. I took a few slow steps to the door and my hand hover above the handle before the knocks were heard again and made me jump, In fright I reached down for the handle and yanked the door back.
“Hey Nicks” Zayn smiled “Lou said he left his jumper in here?” he mumbled his eyes wondering the flat.
“Uh yeah, come in a sec.” I muttered as I took a step aside for Zayn to enter, which he did at a slow pace. I closed the door behind him as he took a few steps into the suite, then a rush of adrenaline hit me and I went through with the plan.
“How’s Perrie?” I blurted out to Zayn.
“Perrie?” He said quirking his head as if he didn’t believe me, I gave him a solemn nod before he continued “She’s great, I’m just helping her pack actually.” He said with a half hearted smile.
“So you really like her huh?” I said as I slumped on the couch. He looked at me a minute deep in thought before answering
“Yeah… I guess.” He said with a shrug.
“Really?” I asked with a raised eyebrow, he let out a sigh before shaking his head. “Then why are you with her?” I asked as if I was genuinely curious, because he can’t know I know. I should be an actress.
“I don’t really have a choice.” He said letting out another sigh.
“But you do!” I said frustrated and done as Lou had instructed me to. “Unless it’s management then you do!” I said in the same tone.
“Oh god… Alright! It’s management ok… I don’t want to be with Perrie I want to be with you! Only you! But if I stayed with you management would release bullshit and destroy your career before it’s already begun! And I can’t have that Nicks…” he said taking a sigh of relief. His eyes were glossy and that was enough for me to know that this is killing Zayn.
“Zayn I-”
“Listen Nicks… Maybe it’s just best if we stay away from each other, just being around you is painful enough because I want you and I can’t have you and this is going to be hard on both of us… Maybe we should keep our distance till I get back from Australia if this isn’t over by then…” he said as he walked towards the door.
“Zayn…” I muttered through my stinging nose and tear prickling eyes.
“No one can know you know… I need to get back to Perrie… Bye Nicks…” he gave me one last stare before dropping his head and walking out, closing the door behind him.
I walked swiftly to my room in the suite and let out a loud scream into my pillow before flopping back on my bed.
“Well that fucking escalated quickly!” I groaned.

Lucy’s P.O.V
“Lou… Where are we going?!” I said frustrated
“I’m not telling you! Keep still it’s hard to keep my hands over your eyes when you’re wriggling like that.” He said with a slight chuckle.
I let out a groan. I had a feeling we were in a limo, but I’m not too sure. I felt the large car come to a halt
“Okay and look!” Louis removed his hands from my eyes and in front of us was a record studio.
