Chapter 1
"Louise! Oh my! You have to get out of bed, now, you need to leave come on!" My mother shouted in my ear.
I let out a grunt as I rolled over, smacking my head on the bedside table, "Shit mum! God, what is wrong with you?" My mother just rose her eyebrow at me in an unnamused manner. We were the only two people in the house, I was an only child and my dad had fucked of because he's a twat, it's pretty simple.
"I mean, lovely way to wake me up mother." I smiled at her sweetly and innocently as if I hadn't just majorly disrespected her.
"You may be 18 but you still shouldn't speak to your mother like that, you twat." she joked.
I have to admit I love my mum, I don't know what I would do with-out her, shes like my best friend I guess, it's not like I really have anyone else. All of a sudden I heard a lot of loud noises coming up the stairs and in ran Tango, my ginger Dogue De Bordeaux, I said we were the only two people, I didn't say I didn't have a dog.
"Crap." I moaned as I was knocked onto the bed and sat on. "Tango you crazy mutt get of off me! You're not a puppy anymore you're 14 stone of gingerness. " He just looked at me and wagged his tail, of course he had no clue what I was saying.
"I'll leave you to get ready, you have an hour, come on Tango." My mum shouted as she left the room, Tango done as she said and followed her out and removed himself from me with a grunt.
Then it hit me like a kick in the balls, today I'm auditioning for X Factor. Who I am kidding? There is no way on earth I'm actually going to do this. I groaned and pulled myself up from my bed ready to start the day, I looked around my One Direction filled room and smiled, maybe that could be me one day, Ha, what a joker I am.

"Knock 'em dead kiddo!" My mum said as I walked onto the stage, I gave her a smile and stood in the middle of the stage, my nerves were going crazy.
"Hey there sweetie. What's your name?" Tulisa smiled at me.
"Uh, I'm Louise Johnson." I smiled, my strong Irish accent leaked through, thats probably one important thing you should know about me.
"How old are you Louise?" Gary asked me.
"Uh... 18," I smiled, I swear I was going to pee.
"Great and what are you going to sing for us today?" He continued to ask.
"Um... live while were young by One Direction" everyone in the audiance cheered.
"Okay then take it away," he smiled and I bought the mic up to my mouth as the music started, my heart was in my throat but some how I managed to choke out a note.
"Hey girl, I'm waitin' on ya, I'm waitin' on ya
Come on and let me sneak you out
And have a celebration, a celebration
The music up, the window's down" I really started to get into it and continued singing, the audience was cheering which helped boost my confidence a little however I still could have peed a little bit
"Yeah, we'll be doing what we do

So tonight" then I really boosted it when it came to the chorus then after giving it everything I could I brought it to an end, "And live while we're young."
The whole audience clapped and cheered, it felt amazing, they actually enjoyed my singing, my singing was like by someone other than my mum and it felt great however I still had the comments to go... Shit.
"You know what?" Tulisa started "I like you, I think you've got something!" she smiled and I swear my head went light and I could have passed out.
"Yeah me too, you really looked like you were enjoying yourself!" Louis smiled
"Thank-you" I replied not really knowing what else to say as I was in shock, then came Gary's comment, the comment I was dreading the most.
"You know, you're not half bad with some help, I think you could be big," I froze, what? Big? Huh?
"I say yes," Gary smiled and I just didn't know what to think or feel.
"I second that yes," Louis smiled.
"You got 3 yes's you got through!" Tulsia yelled and the audiance cheered.
I was still frozen. I had got through and I just stood there, on the stage, frozen. What an idiot.
"Hello? Louise?" Gary laughed
"Yeah," I paused, "Wait, I got through?" I said amazed, I just didn't believe it.
"Yes!" they all shouted.
"Right okay... Thank you!" I said as I walked off the stage

And then came boot camp results.
"I'm sorry, but you guys didn't make it," was all that came out of Gary's mouth, what? Oh lord Jesus! I felt my eyes well up.
"Shit..." I muttered to myself, as I went to leave Gary announced something causing me to stop in my track.
"Louise Johnson, Hope Liyle, Lucy Mai, Nicole Martin and Indi Hail can you all wait? We have something to offer you guys," I frowned just wanting to go home , we each walked back to the centre of the stage where he continued, "Each year, we take people and put them into groups, this year we have decided that if you guy want to go on, you have the opportunity to take it, we think you will be big just like Little Mix, One Direction and many others from the show."
"Yes!" I blurted out
"Yes, oh god it goes without saying!" One of the other girls said, each one of us eventually saying yes.
"Alright, good luck see you at the judges houses." Then at that the judges left, leaving us five to talk.
