It had been a particular long day that day, work was a drag, and Yn's friends were constantly in and out for some reason or another. As if they were checking on them.
Even Lucy seemed more concerned lately, after Peter's been around. Which made some sense, he's a little quiet around them, they don't know him well.
Still, one night, Lucy said something that made Yn ponder. They'd gotten a little insulted by the implication that Peter was a creep, even if he was rather forward.
When they had complained, however, she just brushed them off. It was late. "I'll explain later in the morning." She said "If I wake up in time."
With that, they'd gone their separate ways and went to bed.
