Zunni had started teaching summer school her first year on Earth. Of course, Dib never actually needed it. However, Zim did. And to prevent children from being held back, since the state required a minimum amount of students for any class, they took other volunteers.
So here Dib was, right next to Zim, in another classroom, with an eccentric woman just casually watching them argue with some big smirk.
