"Craze! We gotta go! Wake up!", someone called out to me, as they wiggled my legs to wake me up.
I woke up to see Adrian looking rather happy and motivated. I got up and stretched my body, and spoke with Adrian afterwards.
"So... any news on what time we're leaving?", I asked him.
"I don't know yet. They haven't announced anything.", he said. "But I do know that we are definitely leaving today.", he added.
"Then, why aren't you ready and dressed?", I asked, as I fixed my blankets and pillows.
"Well, Mitchel says Headmaster Max will be calling us 30 minutes before the actual departure, so that we can prepare for any last-minute occasion.", he said. "Also, who goes on missions on an empty stomach? The Elite Team and I have been waiting for you in the Dining Hall for half an hour now.", said Adrian, as he opened the door.
"Alright, lemme just fix myself up, and I'll be there soon.", I told Adrian, as I opened my drawers and closet.
"That's the spirit! You might want to hurry though - Russ has already had a dozen - literally a dozen appetizers. If he likes cheese and crackers, that explains it...", said Adrian as he walked out of my room.
I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower, followed by my medicines and oral hygiene processes. Then I got a neatly folded shirt to wear - it was color green on the shoulder and chest area, and it fades into an army green as it reaches the bottom. I wore my trusty old, slightly torn jeans, and flip-flops - yes, I wore flip-flops. I don't really fancy wearing slippers that often, so I go barefoot. But you can't walk in a military facility like EASE while you're barefoot! After all my shenanigans, I walked out and proceeded downstairs to the Dining Hall, where everyone was waiting for me.
"Where have you been, man?!", Jaydee screamed. "I'm getting hungrier by the minute, considering the fact that some guy in front of you has already had a dozen plates of scrumptiously amazing appetizers!", he said.
"Hey calm down Jaydee. I'm pretty sure Craze must have been really tired. After all, he was the guy who got left behind in the forest.", said Roni. "Well, let's just be happy that he's here now. Right guys?", she said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright so, what are we having today? Pancakes with Maple Syrup, and a side of strawberries? Fresh, hot Ham and Cheese Croissants? Corn Flakes Cereal - even if I like it, and it's not usually served here, I hope it is!", I asked enthusiastically.
"Man, still the same food-enthusiast Craze, I see. Well, we're all having special meals today. Apparently, the chefs are catering foods that we like to eat - for ourselves.", said Mitchel. "Tell me Craze, I'm pretty curious. If you're so used to eating such amazingly nutritious and delicious food in one day, how can you not go insane in a forest - in this case, how did you manage to stay the night there?", he curiously asked.
"Well, it's simple actually. The trick is to eat the foods that you like, slowly - and the foods that you love, quickly.", I said, as I chuckled and looked at Russ. "No wonder this guy is fat - he's obviously following my footsteps.", I said, as everyone laughed.
"Hah - good one Craze. For once, you made a pretty good joke about this pigman 'ere!", said Fiona, as she bro-punched Russ in the arm. "You seem pretty happy today, Craze - what's up?", she asked.
