To Flourish
"Are you sure those will live?" I heard Priam asked behind me.
"They have my tears..." I muttered. "They will live as long as I live."
"You're going to make the god of forests angry for this," he murmured then stood up straight. He has greyish hair. A symbol of old age.
"You can't just plant anywhere you wish, young goddess." He said firmly. "Once the god of forests finds out about this..."
"Then, better plant the seeds while the hour is still young."
"And what kind of forest would this be?"
"I do not know what would it be..." I honestly answered. "I hope no spells would linger here.
He flew right beside me as if taken aback by what I just said. His eyes widened and glanced at the school. "You plan to take your Devisee here?"
Tumango-tango ako. "Soon, once I found her. She would be safe inside..."
"Wars are none of your concern."
"But, you just told me to do something to stop the wars," reklamo ko.
"Exactly... I told you to do something to stop the wars. Go back to Valleyria and convince your kind. Not fight with me in wars..." He lectured. Napabuntong-hininga siya at napahimas ng noo. "You're a goddess. You should be more than just a little girl who's holding a sword."
Mabilis akong umiling-iling. Nature would be my barrier, and my weapon. I can guide you for as long as I can with it...
Matigas niyang giit.
"If ever I'll die in that battle, I would be at peace knowing that something will still be alive and will grow because of me tomorrow..." I murmured quietly while staring at the seeds before facing him back again.
He stepped back then slowly nodded. "Prepare yourself, then." He said then spread his wings.
I frown as I watch him fly back to the hill. Tumayo ako at pinagpag ang damit. I touched my hair to push them to the back of my ears. Hanggang ngayon ay maiksi pa rin iyon.
Bumuntong hininga ako at hinanap si Nyx.
I saw him sitting on a branch. I looked away when he stared down.
