Warning
"My Queen,"
Draven kneeled before the woman inside the throne room. She was standing in front of a window with an open book in her hands. It was only there in her hands... like it's some sort of tool.
One of her ladies approached us.
"Yes, Lady Caelin. We have witnessed an outcast inside the lands of Axiom. She was practicing a dark--"
"Perhaps it is better if the Queen should hear this herself." pagputol ko sa kanya.
Draven muttered curses beside me before clearing his throat. "What my companion means to say--"
"I say we're here to speak with the Queen.
I felt Draven's hand suddenly on my arm, a sign to stop me from talking. "Thalia..." he groaned.
Lady Caelin firmly held the laces of her golden dress. "If you're here to speak with her, then I am the Queen's steward. I'm here to speak in her behalf." she proudly said. "At isa pa, may sakit ang reyna. Hindi ito ang para gambalain ninyo kami. Be thankful that we're kind enough to welcome guests... even if you're a peasant." Pinasadahan niya ako ng tingin mula ulo hanggang paa.
She clasped her hands before smiling forcedly. She averted her gaze to Draven. "The Rugged Knight! What a surprise... Maybe I could speak with you better than your friend here."
"I apologize for her behavior, Lady Caelin..." Draven said and smiled. He slightly tapped my arm. "She's doesn't know what it's like inside the castle. She has never been into courts."
"Who is she anyway?"
Umiwas ako ng tingin.
"She's Thalia, my Lady."
"She's..." Draven paused and slightly winced for not knowing what to say. "She talks to fairies, my Lady."
Napadaing ako at mahinang napailing-iling. Sa lahat ng pwede niyang maisip...
Nagpakawala ng tawa si Caelin. "No wonder why she's so arrogant.
"That is enough insults, Caelin."
She closed her book in her hands and give it to Caelin. Draven beside me also bowed before her.
