Once they were finally ready to set off, They headed downstairs to grab some snacks from the kitchen and to say bye to his dad, but Mr Stilinski seemed nowhere to be found. "Oh, he must have been called back to work?" Stiles guessed as he opened the cupboard, grabbing some sweet popcorn and some Reece's pieces. He had to admit, Lydia looked gorgeous, even in her comfy clothes, her hair was now in a fluffy curly mess and her makeup was light but effective. He looked a mess compared to her as he'd only thrown on some old jeans and a dark t-shirt with his usual plaid shirt on top. He walked back towards the front door to find Lydia waiting patiently for him. "Okay got them! Let's go!" He said quickly, grabbing the keys to his jeep as they headed out. Once they got in the car, Stiles decided that now was a perfect time if any to tell her about his feelings as they drove slowly through the dark empty streets. But before he could even begin, Lydia seemed to read his mind as she spoke first. "Are you okay Stiles?" She asked him again as he smiled in response. "Ha erm yeah I mean...no I erm...can I tell you something?" He spoke awkwardly as his answer seemed to peak her attention as she turned to face him more in her seat. "Go on." Her voice was quieter now as she listened intently for his answer. "I Erm have been kinda struggling lately, well ever since I got back, I've been feeling the constant dread and worry all the time, like something bad is going to happen and I don't know how to make it stop." Lydia remained quiet, listening patiently as she furrowed her eyebrows slightly at his response but kept quiet. "I Erm keep worrying about us actually, about you. All I want to do is be with you and I-I can't seem to concentrate on much else. I just keep getting this feeling like we're running out of time, like I need us to be together all the time and any time we aren't...I worry we're wasting it." He confessed finally. It felt good to finally tell her, and for a moment she seemed stuck on what to say.

"Oh Stiles, why didn't you tell me sooner? You know what you're like when you worry and stress, it eats you alive. I guess I could tell something was up but i didn't know why...I guess I feel it too? I mean it's normal for us to want to be together all the time, we've just started dating and we've been apart for so long, we're bound to not want to leave each other but it's okay Stiles, nothing bad will happen. You're just reeling from the trauma of the wild hunt, it made you constantly worried, constantly on high alert, but you're home now. You have me. I'm not going anywhere I promise, we're going to be okay." She reassured him sweetly as he finally came to a stop in Scott's driveway as he switched off the engine. He turned to face her with teary eyes, "I can't lose you again Lydia, I just can't." He replied honestly as she brought him close to her. "Don't worry, you won't. I'm never leaving you, I'm not going anywhere. I'm yours Stiles, all yours." She spoke gently, they were inches apart, his eyes searching hers as he felt relieved. She kissed his lips softly before giving him a tight hug as he thanked god that he had her, she was his whole world. She leant back, wiping a stray tear from his face carefully before giving him a pretty smile. "Come on, let's go spend time with our friends."

Once they got inside, they found that everyone was already there as Liam moaned playfully about how they were always late. "Sorry Liam we was busy..." Stiles replied vaguely, as he headed past the living room to place the snacks they'd brought into the kitchen before joining Lydia happily on the sofa. "Oh is that what sex is called now?" Liam snapped back smartly as Stiles squinted at him. "Wow you've already learnt what sex is in class!?" Stiles replied sarcastically as Liam squinted at him, laughing falsely. "Ha Ha Ha don't be annoying, i mean I could practically smell it on you both, poor thing, she reeks of your scent!" Liam stuck his nose up slightly as Stiles rolled his eyes. "Oh don't be jealous just cause you aren't getting any." Stiles retorted meanly as Lydia whacked his arm light at his cruel response. Liam's face went a slight shade of pink as he stumbled over his words. "What! I-I do too get loads-lots of a-action!" He turned to Mason to back him up as Scott came by and laughed at the young boy with Stiles, enjoying the playful banter. "Don't worry Liam, I'm sure you'll learn all about it when you hit puberty." Stiles teased the young boy again as Scott burst out laughing. Lydia shook her head at the childish pair, "ignore them Liam, they're just being mean..." she flashed a stern gaze at the older boys shutting them up before turning back to Liam. "...you're only 15 you have plenty of time to meet girls when you're older." She reassured him as he gave her a thankful smile. "Right guys I'm picking the first film!" Kira squealed excitedly, changing the subject, as Lydia rested back into Stiles, his arm wrapped around the back of her, as he gave her a kiss on her cheek as she giggled at his touch. "Sorry to be a pain man but could you help me with the drinks?" Scott asked Stiles almost apologetically from behind the sofa as he pointed to the kitchen. Stiles looked back at him, nodding happily as Lydia moved to let him stand up. He followed Scott into the kitchen, the door closing behind them as the went to pick up the tray of drinks he'd lined up for them. Stiles leant against the unit, his hand instantly touching a sticky liquid as he groaned in protest at the gross feeling. He quickly removed his hand, attempting to shake it off to no avail, "ewww oh for god sake!" He complained as Scott gave him a sorry look, "oh shit sorry dude I forgot to wipe up, I spilt some." Stiles shook his head at him, giving him a weak smile before heading to the sink to wash his hands. Despite turning it on, no water came out to his confusion as Scott moaned at it. "Oh this fucking thing!" He walked closer, smacking the faucet hard until it started to work, despite its groans of protest. "This thing is the worst! Honestly this house is falling apart!" He whined sadly with a shake of his head. Stiles hastily washed his hands, drying them before helping Scott take the rest of the drinks in. He felt pity for his best friend, he knew him and his mom were struggling with the repairs on their house and the renovations it so desperately needed, but they couldn't afford it.
