Stiles and Scott helped her quickly into the hospital as they demanded for Melissa as soon as they reached reception. She arrived hastily, her face faltering instantly upon seeing them, as she seemed to reflect all the worry that Stiles was currently feeling. Lydia's head was now bleeding rapidly down her face as Stiles felt like he could barely breathe. Melissa lead them to a clean room and bed as they helped her up and she quickly looks her over whilst cleaning up her head wound slightly. "Do you know what's wrong? Can you help her? Will she be okay Mel?" Stiles can't help but bombard her with questions as Scott tries to get him to calm down. "You know this woman?" Lydia splutters out in confusion as Melissa turns her head back to her immediately. She looks back to Scott, her expression a concerned one as she checks Lydia's eyes and reactions. "Well she has a concussion, that much is obvious.." she states matter of factly as she shines a light in her eyes, pulling on her eyelids gently. "...but there is something more isn't there?" She turns back to them both suddenly for answers as Scott pulls her out of the room with Stiles in tow. "Mom, she's lost her memory. She can't remember anyone but me! She thinks she's still dating Jackson and sh-...she asked where Allison was..." he trailed off sadly, almost whispering the last part, as Melissa's eyes went wide. "Oh no...look okay guys try not to panic, we will run some more tests okay? We will find out for sure!" She turned more to Stiles this time, like she was trying to reassure him the most as he placed his hands on his hips, in a weak attempt to stop them shaking. "Please...just tell me what's happening?" He practically begged her as she gave him a sad look, releasing a heavy breath. "Well, To me, it seems that she has dissociative amnesia. She seems to have regressed back to being 16 years old again, which is why she can remember you Scott, and Allison, and being with Jackson, but not much else." Panic must have been evident on his face as Melissa placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Stiles, it's okay. We'll do more tests okay, we'll make her better. We'll find a more definite answer. Sometimes things like this only last a day or two." She explained matter of factly he dropped his gaze, not sure what to think. All he could think about was her use of the word 'sometimes'.

The rest of the pack quickly arrived not long after, coming up to them outside her room, as they asked lots of questions. "Look look guys...It's late, and Melissa has given her some medication to ease her pain and help her sleep so we should let her rest right now. There is no point us all being here, especially since we won't know till tomorrow and she can't really remember well." He instructed as they all nodded in agreement, Stiles wasn't completely focused on the conversation as he kept his gaze on Lydia through the window in her door. "Well one of us should at least stay with her and make sure she's not alone when she wakes up." Kira said obviously as Stiles quickly but in. "I will. I'll stay. She's my girlfriend, I can't leave her, I c-can't." He added as they all turned to face him. "Are you sure? I mean she can't even remember you?" Malia's tone death response didn't hurt any less being said out loud, but he ignored it. "Yes. I don't care. I need to know she'll be okay. I don't care if she remembers me or not." He met Scott's gaze as Scott gave him a sympathetic smile. "Okay well that's sorted then, come on everyone, let's head home and get some decent sleep and we can come back tomorrow when she's awake. The rest of the pack said their goodbyes to him, Scott giving him a tight hug before they headed off and back home. Stiles sighed, watching them go before entering her room as quietly as he could. He dropped himself into the plastic chair next to her bed, watching her wistfully as he prayed she'd wake up okay. He noticed some of her belongings placed on the table next to him, the clothes she was wearing, her jewellery, her phone. Stiles stared at it for a moment before picking it up. As soon as he turned it on, a picture of the two of them together lit up in front of him, and he couldn't help but get upset. This phone would show her everything, show her their whole time together, how much they loved each other. He thought back to what Melissa said about not overloading her with information as it could cause her to become even more confused. He instinctively made the conscious, somewhat risky, and last minute decision to keep it as he hastily shoved it into his pocket, he'd give it back to her when she managed to get some of her memories back so she wouldn't immediately freak out. He was completely exhausted, but despite it, he stayed up all night to make sure she was okay.
